“ | …I have no intention of speaking ill to you. There is no use explaining good and evil to a beast. Between you and me, there is only the law of life and death: The weak are cut down by the strong. Sleep— eternally. |

~ Wilhelm, having avenged his wife |
“ | Victory… is mine. You're weaker than me, so you have no reason to wield the sword anymore. I'll take on your reason for wielding the sword. You need only become… my reason to wield it. | „ |
~ Wilhelm's proposal to Theresia |

- Instinctive Action (Fights on the level of Garfiel are immediate, with no delay between decision making and action[8], with the slightest delay being exploited by their opponent[8]. Has superhuman, god-like combat capabilities[4] that make it possible to dodge 30+ invisible hands. Even Julius who can dodge invisible attacks with instincts, wasn't able to avoid Petelguese's Unseen Hands without getting a number of injuries, while Wilhelm was unharmed)

Same as before plus:
- Accelerated Development (Training, Battle, Physical Statistics, Abilities, Other; With just 2 years of training he was able to defeat Theresia[20] despite it being impossible for anyone else to achieve in a lifetime or even an eternity. With every attack, the angle, and intensity becomes more precise[21], eventually breaking through the defenses of his opponents)
- Awakened Power (In life or death, or intense fights[22], Wilhelm has been shown to become vastly faster, and skilled)
- Limited Resistance to Status Effect Inducement (Was able to keep fighting, albeit not to his normal levels, while under the effects of Sphinx's magic[23], which caused people to have trouble breathing and their body to be heavy)
Same as before plus:

Attack Potency: Mountain level (Only someone on his or Ricardo's level can deal sufficient damage[28] to the White Whale, with everyone else's damage being described as a drop in the bucket. He cut out the Whale's eye,[29] and its dorsal fin,[29] and eventually even cut the Whale in half with 1 strike[24]) | At least Mountain level (Superior to his old self. Got stronger after gong toe to toe[30] with Libre, and defeating Valga), up to Continent level with Awakened Power (He defeated Theresia van Astrea in a close duel)
Speed: Superhuman travel speed (Comparable to Garfiel), Sub-Relativistic combat speed (Comparable to Elsa and Emilia. His battle with Theresia was stated to be on a level where not even sound could intrude on[31]), higher reaction speed (By reaching a perfect focus he can avoid attacks that would normally hit him[10]) | Superhuman travel speed (Faster than his old self), Sub-Relativistic+ combat speed (Superior to his old self, superior to Roswaal J Mathers. Libre was initially faster than him, and then got even faster, however Wilhelm closed the gap by growing in speed. Later on he fought Valga, and got even faster than before), higher reaction speed. Up to Massively Hypersonic+ travel speed, and FTL combat speed with awakened power (Superior to Theresia, comparable to Cecilus. He sublimated from super-speed to hyper-speed, from hyper-speed to the speed of god, until finally transcending the very concept of steel,[32] and placing a foot on the steps to the Heavenly Sword), higher reaction speed

Anyone but a lower-grade opponent can brush off Shamak[35], which affects the senses such as hearing and vision, with skill. More skilled than Hornet, who easily detected and would have killed a younger Arakiya, despite her body being merged with the wind and being invisible[36]. Could easily deal with the Unseen hands[37] despite them being invisible, even to people who can detect and react to invisible attacks with instincts, and able to freely alter its range, direction, and overwhelm the enemy with numbers. Those on the level of Wilhelm and Theresia are masters whose skill surpassed the realm of mere humans.[10] Garfiel freaked out, after Wilhelm showed him just a fragment of the summit of strength,[38] he is aiming for. On the level of Theresia who has supreme skill that she can steal away the function a person's leg[39] without doing any unnecessary destruction, only having the barest amount of blood on her sword) | Genius (Wilhelm is good at recognizing[33] the strategies of his enemies. He was already the greatest sword wielder[24] of the domain at just 14 years old. Without ever facing live combat, his skill already surpassed 15 normal youths combined.[24] His skills in his old age are inferior to when he was young[12]) | Extraordinary Genius (At his peak, Wilhelm was a swordsman who after years of hard work and dedication was able to surpass Theresia, despite it being impossible for anyone else to achieve in a lifetime or even an eternity[24]. Theresia's ability to intuitively grasp her opponents most vulnerable point, and see white lines which inevitably leads to death, had no effect on him[20], as he constantly severed her lines. His swordsmanship was described as[40] equal to Cecilus Segmunt's)
