Bankai Ichigo adapting to Kamishini no Yari

Context

1. We start with Gin talking to Ichigo and then, activating his Bankai and attacking him, realize that Ichigo is not impressed with the speed of Expansion but with the Retraction speed of Kamishini no Yari, but this is a point that I will cover more forward.
2. After that, Ichigo discovers that Kamishini no Yari's real danger is his speed and not his size, which surprises Gin, as he mentions that Ichigo was able to realize all this on the first date and was already able to dodge on the second. This is already clear proof that Ichigo was already adapting to Bankai de Gin.
    
3. Going forward, Gin mentions that Ichigo was able to stop his attack even though he thought it was luck. Ichigo definitely believes he can beat him.
4. Now we come to the point I quoted at the beginning of the text (The Bankai de Gin Extension and Retraction). As I mentioned in all cases, Ichigo is surprised by the retraction and not the expansion of Bankai de Gin.
5. As we see here, he is able to dodge Kamishini no Yari, this with him looking at the blade, but he cannot see the Retraction of the blade. So much so that even with Gin doubling the speed of the attack, Ichigo was still able to see this attack and derail it. It is very clear here that Kamishini no Yari Retraction is much faster than its Expansion.
