Introduction[]

In My Hero Academia, Izuku kicks Overhaul's final form hard enough to send him flying hundreds of meters away. I'll be calculating the lifting strength of his 100%.

Calculation[]

Overhaul's Height = 181 cm (He is around Mirio's height)

Overhaul's Head = 181/8 = 22.625 cm

Then we need to find the weigth of Overhaul's final form.

Scan 1

Overhaul's Head = 22.625 cm

Overhaul's Final Form Torso = 532.02 cm

According to this page, the length of the thorax + neck + head is 10.75 + 12.7 = 23.45% of the body height:

  • Overhaul’s Thorax + Head + Neck = 23.45*182/100 = 42.679 cm
  • Height Ratio (Comparing with his final form) = 532.02/42.679 = 12.47
  • Weight Ratio = 12.47^3 = 1939.10

So his final form is that times heavier than his human form. Since he has at least 4 arms, the weight, using the same page linked above is:

  • Overhaul’s Body Section Weight = 81.9*[20.1+6.94+4*(2.71+1.62+0.61)]/100 = 38.33 kg
  • Overhaul's Final Form Weight = 1939.10*38.33 = 74325.70 kg

Now we have to find the horizontal distance Izuku sent flying his final form.

Storey Height (Industrial Area) = 3.5 m

Panel Height = 226.30 m

3.5 is the object size, and 226.30 is the panel height.

Horizontal Distance = 3.5*226.30/[3.5*2tan(70/2)] = 161.59 m

Total Horizontal Distance = 161.59 x 2 = 323.18 m

After that we need to find the vertical distance.

Gate Height = 84" or 2.1336 m

Panel Height = 52.78 m

2.1336 is the object size, and 52.78 is the panel height.

Maximum Height = 2.1336*52.78/[2.1336*2tan(70/2)] = 37.69 m

Initial Velocity (Calculator) = 64.29 m/s

Finally we can find the momentum and force of Izuku's kick.

Momentum = 64.29*74325.703 = 4778399.25 N*s

Force (Assuming kicks last the same as punches) = 4778399.25/0.06 = 79639987.50 Newtons

Final Tally[]

Izuku Midoriya's 100% Lifting Strength = 8951.89 Tons of Force (Class M)
