Introduction[]
Aight, so I'm gonna recalc the throwing speed of Seismic Toss. But even more than that, I'm going to do it twice, for two games.
One will be for Battle Revolution
And one will be from Gens 6 and onwards
First up is Battle Revoulution. AN did this before, but I'm gonna redo it.
Machamp Humiliates Nosepass[]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Lx9ZT4iI7Q&feature=youtu.be
Here's the scene.
Low end[]
<10 seconds. Why? Because of the fact that one, the clip is only slightly longer as a whole. Second, this is a Pokemon battle. Not just any Pokemon battle, but one that gets commentated. It makes no sense for such a common move to take long, or else it wouldn't be commentated as people would get impatient and bored. Think about any sport, and you notice this is the case. Anything worth mentioning happens in this timeframe or less.
Firstly, distance from the ground to the highest layer of Earth's atmosphere, which is, according to this, 600 km. Then, add how high Nosepass went.
Nosepass completely reached the screen in that bit.
Gotta do some angsizing

The earth is 235 px tall. Screen (of the Wii U in that image) is 460 px tall. Plug that into that first formula to get 39.36 degrees, and then into the angsizing formula to get 17813 km (as the Earth is 12742 km in diameter)
So in total, that's 18,413 km high.
Because it's there and back, half the timeframe. The timeframe is there for the act of there and back.
t= 5 seconds
d= 18,413
Plug these into our handy dandy calculatoredge.com to get 3682600 m/s, or Mach 10,736.44315, or 1.2% SoL. Sub Relativistic.
Kinetic Energy[]
"What? Cal never said he was gonna calc that!"
Well, I am.
"But every Pokemon can use this move on any Pokemon! You can't make this calc!"
Au contraire, mon ami. I can.
See the move Sky Drop, another move where you hoist your opponent far into the air.
That move has a weight limit where the move fails if the target Pokemon surpasses it. Said weight is 200 kg.
Seismic Toss does not have that limit.
So that means it can lift Pokemon above that, but to be safe, the only end I am going to be calculating is with 200 kg. For all of the calcs (yes, me calculating KE is not just going to be for the low end of the BR Seismic Toss)
And with that said, the resulting KE, using the speed above, is 1356154276000000 joules. 324128.65105162526 Tons of TNT. Large Town level
Legitimately a Machop and a Mankey can pull this off. Technically should scale to any Pokemon, but to be safe, we should scale it only to the ones that are 8-A and up.
So, at a minimum, if accepted, non-Legendaries are High 7-C and Sub Relativistic. Nice.
High end[]
Using the video time from when Machamp executes the attack (6 seconds) to when Nosepass hits the screen and peaks height (9 seconds). It's a perspective shift more than it is a cut anyway. Besides. Much easier than what I did above...
Blah blah blah, speed is 6137666.66667 m/s. Mach 17894.0719144898. 2% SoL. Still sub-rel.
Kinetic Energy[]
Blab blah blah, KE is 3767095211115203.5 joules. 900357.3640332704 Tons of TNT. Large Town level+. Same scaling applies to this as from above.
Volbeat humiliates Mega Alakazam[]
Much easier timeframe at 4 seconds. No assumptions. So no low or high ends. But, I'm gonna leave this for later. This is a WIP. Anyone wants to solve this for me, be my guest. (Please. I'm begging)
100% credit goes to ArbitraryNumbers. He's the real MVP for this

The height of the video is 480 px and the earth is 97.
2atan(atan(35)*(97/480)) = 0.604237959 radians, or 34.620284872385 degrees
Diameter of earth is 12,742 km
plugging that into the angsize calculator gets me 2.0442e+4 km or 20,442,000 meters.
Assuming half of the 4 second timeframe, that would be 10,221,000 m/s or 0.034 C - Sub-Relativistic.
100 kg * 10,221,000^2 = 1.0446884e+16 joules or 2.5 Megatons of TNT - Small City level.
Machamp tosses the earth at Rattata (joke calc)[]
Clearly, Machamp throws the entire globe at Rattata even though they're both standing on it. Graphical limitations my ass!
Timeframe for Machamp to lift the earth? 1.5 seconds

Machamp lifted the Earth 195 px to the Earth's size of 104 px.
If the earth is 12742 km tall, then Machamp must've lifted the earth 23891.25 km high.
15927500 m/s is how fast, so SubRel+ Machamp (and Rattata could react to it being thrown at higher speeds.
Earth is 5.972e+24 kg.
So the KE must've been 7.575041751625e+38 Joules. Brown Dwarf level Machamp. And Rattata only faints from it. Brown Dwarf level Rattata durability
Eat your heart out, Rayquaza.
