Introduction[]
Just wanted to see how stronk is Groudon in both AP and LS from its lore.
Doing the same thing I've done here.
Calculation[]
Feat is basically this:
Pokémon Ruby Pokédex entry: GROUDON has long been described in mythology as the POKéMON that raised lands and expanded continents. This POKéMON took to sleep after a cataclysmic battle with KYOGRE.
In the formation of the Pokémon Earth surface, and as we can see, there was an huge Pangaea-like continent at start, which was divided in 4 huge continents like our world. Groudon raised said supercontinent for obvious reasons.
How big was that continent? It's basically the 29.2% of the total Earth's surface area, which is in short 148939063.133 km^2, or 1.48939063133e14 m^2
About the height, I'll use the sum of the average Continental Crust thickness and the average world altitude:
- 840 + ((25000 + 70000)/2) = 48340 m
Let's see the mass:
- 1.48939063133e14 * 48340 * 2830 = 2.03751915e22 KG (Class Z)
Time to apply PE, this time using only the altitude summed to the difference in height between landmass and the sea, represented from the average ocean depth, as Groudon didn't raise the continental crust completely but only emerged the continents from the oceans:
- 2.03751915e22 * 9.81 * (840 + 3688) = 9.05059486e26 Joules / 216.31 Petatons (Multi-Continent level)
