Just moving some calculations done in forums I know of to blog posts, since the forum move is coming soon and they should be in blogs anyway.
These calculations except the first one are not done by me, credit to the original person.
Jue Yuan shakes Mount Hua[]
Assuming Magnitude 4, Mount Hua is 2160 m tall.
4+0.0238*2.16 = 4.051408
10^(1.5*4.051408+4.8) = 7.535498713e10 Joules, 18.0102741707 tons, City Block level
Golden Wheel Monk having the strength of 9 oxen[]
Done by Ebitan34.
Quote "These powerful beasts can out-pull a big team of horses. In fact, while a team of oxen can pull its own body weight at a walking pace, for short bursts of six to eight feet, a well-trained team of oxen can pull up to 2!-W times their body weight — or as much as 12,000 to 13,000 pounds."
So 9 of them would be 108 000 pounds or 48 987.976 kg, Class 50
Flash supersonic punch[]
Done by ByAsura.
CW Flash is capable of punching people at Mach 1.1 with his fist.
That's 308 973.544 Joules, Wall level.
Destroying a ton of concrete[]
Done by Greenshifter.
Concrete weighs 2,400 kilograms per cubic metre, so one tonne of concrete would be 41.666~% of a cubic metre.
So to violently fragment (between 17 to 20 j/cc, 18.5 j/cc) that it would take 7 708 333.33 Joules, or Wall level.
Dodging a soundwave[]
Done by Zanybrainy2000.
Using 25 frames per second; the gun is fired at frame 94 and "fades" (Hits the pole, as it visually dissipates when it hits an object) at frame 143.
143 - 94 = 49 frames
49 / 25 = 1.96 seconds
At frame 164, the player starts walking and reaches the pole at frame 271
271 - 164 = 107 frames
107 / 25 = 4.28 seconds
4.28 / 1.96 = 2.18367347 times slower
Using 343 m/s, being the speed of sound above speed level:
343 / 2.18367347 = 157.074766 m/s, or Mach 0.457943924, Subsonic
Yang Guo matches tidal waves[]
Done by Ebitan34.
A 33-foot (10-meter) wave with a falling lip that is 66-feet (20-meters) wide will mean that, if you wipeout, you'll feel the equivalent of 410 tonnes (410000 kilograms) over your body.
Wave speed is 50 meters / second (a 12 second wave period) from
https://www.researchgate.net/post/Is_it_known_for_tidal_waves_to_create_a_shock_wave_or_any_sound
So,
1/2 * (4.10 e5)*(50^2) = 5.125e8 J. What does this translate to?
Small Building level + 9-A
Yang Guo catching pigeons[]
The feat seems to imply she has to apply 81 palm strikes to stop all pigeons before any of them cover a 1 m distance? Assuming each palm strike needs 1 m that's 81 m.
Pigeons fly at 21.6 m/s, so 0.04629629629 s
81/0.04629629629 = 1749.60 m/s, Mach 5.14, Hypersonic indeed
