Background Information[]

So, I've noticed that wall jumping and overall moving bodies around can be used for Lifting Strength

https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Earthyboy/My_Hero_Academia:_Full_Cowl_Jumps

I thought that this would be applicable to the calculation I'm about to do here.

Azure Striker Gunvolt Lore[]

After a climatic battle against Asimov, Gunvolt trimpuhed and killed his mentor, spilling his "father's" blood along the floor on the Sumeragi Orbital Elevator "Babel".

Some time later, Copen Kamizono returns to Babel to recover his gun, the Border, from the dead Azure Striker (Asimov, not Gunvolt). Copen is known for copying the Septimal Power of fallen Adepts, whether it be from Glaives holding their Septimosome, creating weapons from the Muse Shards containing their power, simply scanning and observing them in action, or in this case, analyzing the Azure Striker.

Analyzing their Azure Striker Septima allowed Copen to create the White Tiger Jacket, and it's main feature, the Bullit Dash.

Bullit Dashing[]

Bullit Dashes, as the name implies, utilize "Bullits". According to Copen's "Nintendo Dangeki Profile", written by INTi Creates themselves, Bullits are effectively "batteries" shaped like Bullets that are charged with a very special kind of electricity generated by the analyzed Azure Striker Septima. This is also sourced within both of Copen's games.

With the Bullits, Copen can look like Bullit Dashes, which look like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7UWk3O-teg&t=21s

Obviously, propelling someone this fast is something that can be used for Lifting Strength, and while it is used from the Azure Striker Septima, it does requires some actual physical energy to do, so it's not really a "hax" ability

As well. the forces of the sudden acceleration and the general high speed movement wrecks a human's body if they aren't sufficently trained / is a cyborg, so Copen would have to actually withstand all of these forces.

Okay so, here we go.

The Calculation[]

First, we gotta Pixel Scale Copen

CopenDashPixelScale

He's 5'5 (165.1 cm, rounding to 165), so I'll have to figure out how many pixels that will be using the above shot. Since he's not perfectly standing straight in this shot, I'll measure from the top of his head to his ankle, because that's how we measure height around here. Using the Pythagorean Theorum, we get 144.92 pixels (rounding to 145 px) for this 165cm Copen.

Now, we can try and see just how fast his Bullit Dash is taking him, (of course, since these guys move way, WAY faster than this, this would technically be a lowball)

However, we run into an issue, as you recall in the above video, the Bullit Dash travels so far that the screen moves to follow the player, meaning that we can exactly pixel scale distance super easily

Thankfully, due to INTi Creates love for Afterimage Creation, we can use the Red Afterimages Copen creates to tell how far he moved in a set amount of frames.

The time difference from here

CopenBeforeDash

To here

CopenAfterDash

is 10 Frames. Notice how there is a Red Afterimage left behind where Copen was in the first image, in the exact location he was before 10 frames ago

I've already Pixel Scaled the image as you can see- I was using Copen's feet instead of his full body so we can understand how far just one singular point travelled. 708 Pixels

Copen is 145 pixels at 165 cm, so that means we simply cross multiply

145 px / 165 cm = 708 / X cm

145x = 116820

x = 805.655172 cm

805.655172 cm = 8.05655172 meters

Alright, we got distance of the Bullit Dash (at least, for this instance), so we still need time

The game runs at a buttery smooth 60 FPS, so, 10 Frames / 60 FPS = 0.166666667 Seconds

Alight, we got time, so now we can calculate for the Velocity

V = D/T

8.05655172 / 0.166666667

Velocity = 48.3393102 Meters Per Second

We also need Copen's Mass, he's 5'5 and trains hard to even wear his suits, so looking at the BMI Chart, he'd be around 59 to 61 Kilograms. As well, his White Tiger Jacket is stated to be very light and powered by the Azure Striker Septima instead, so it has neglible mass so we'll say he's 60 Kilograms

Using this calculator, Plugging in 0 for Initial Velocity and 48.3393102 for Final Velocity, as well as 0.166666667 Seconds for Time-

Copen's acceleration would be 290.04 m/s^2.

Using this calculator A Bullit's Energy at the minimum is able to produce approximately 17,402 Newtons of Force. Class 5

I feel like i made a mistake

Scaling[]

Note that Copen in iX (the one in the picture) should be substantially heavier due to being a cyborg, but I used Copen in ASG2. Their Bullit Dashing and White Tiger Jackets function identically from each other, so they can both apply to each other.

Since Bullit Dashing is powered by a weakened version of the Azure Striker Septima, it's safe to assume that this applies to all Azure Strikers.

This should also scale to most Boss Adepts due to the likely being more powerful than the Eden Trapper Bot, a normal enemy within the game that can ensnare GV or Copen. Or Elise's Zombies, which also Grapple Gunvolt.

If not, the following Adepts should scale to this:

  • Merak: Can easily shove and push around Gunvolt with his mecha, sending him flying across the room
  • Viper: Can knock GV around, pushing him into flame pillars with his kicks, and using him as a surface to jump off of
  • Carrera: Can grab and trap Gunvolt without giving him any chance of escape, unlike the Eden Trapper, which can be broken out of
  • Elise: Her Gorgon Gaze, in addition to resistance, requires physical effort to break out of.
  • Stratos: Can instantly crush and kill Gunvolt with his Nemesis Fang
  • Nova: Can somewhat shove Gunvolt with a powerful wind blast. Can call down a giant meteor to crush and instantly kill Gunvolt, and is referred to as the strongest Adept in the setting with a Telekinesis Septima stronger in battling power than the Azure Striker
  • Tenjian: Can instantly freeze Gunvolt or Copen with Flash Freezing, Frigid Blossom, or Seven Slashes
  • Gibril: Can ensnare Gunvolt or Copen with an Iron Maiden, forcing them to break out physically
  • Desna: Can grapple Gunvolt or Copen, both with no chance to escape with her Entangled Strands
  • Milas: Can use Vortex Rush to capture Gunvolt or Copen in a whirlpool of water with little chance of escape
  • Rebellio: Can ensnare Copen with Crimson Death Thread, with no chance of escape
  • Lola Tank: Can ensare Copen with Rebellio's Septima, again with no chance of escape
  • Stella: Can pin down Copen with Cage Chakram and Heavy Shackles, with little to no chance of escape respectively
  • Dystine: Can trap Copen with Total Blackout and Shroud Spear, the former with no chance of escape
