Average Korean man is 1.75 m. The man here is 42 pixels. Every pixel is .0416 meters.

This specific part of the sword (thank god it exists) is 356 pixels, or 14.8 meters.

Yes this is the image ovens gave me.

In the next picture the wide part of the sword is 23 pixels. Every pixel is .643 meters.

I measured the hilt and blade separately just in. Case, but the sword as a whole is 143 pixels long, making it 91.95 meters tall.

Taking an example from this: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/References_for_Common_Feats#Destroying_Blades blades are .192 inches thick, or .0048768 meters.

Size that up to when a blade equals almost 92 meters you get a blade thickness of .44 meters thick.

So I need to turn the blade into shapes since finding the volume of a blade sounds impossible and idk how the blog did it.

It’ll be broken up into two rectangles, a triangle, and a cylinder.

First rectangle has a height of 96 pixels (61.73), a length of 21 pixels (13.5), and a width of .44.

61.73 times 13.5 times .44 is 366.68 meters3 or 36,668,000,000 cm3

Next one is the triangle. I’m...iffy on how triangles work but I think I got this.

Side C is width, so .44 meters, and sides a and b are things we already have a number for, 14.8.

Height of triangle is 11 pixels. 7.073 meters. Put that in a calculator we get 7,675,714,497 cm cubed.

Combine that with the rectangle of the blade that’s 44,343,714,497. Times the density of steel, 8.05, we get 356,966,901,700.85 grams. Yowza.

Second rectangle, for the hilt. Most hilts are thicker than the blade itself. I’m going to assume the guard is like, half a meter thick, just a little more than the blade. So let’s continue.

Hilt is 27 pixels (17.36) in length, 4 (2.57) in height, and half a meter thick.

Put it in a calculator it’s 22,307,600 cm3

For the last one, the cylinder. It’s height is 30 pixels (19.29) and it’s diameter is 4 (2.57), for a radius of 1.285.

Put that in a calculator you get 100,066,418. Add that with the other number you get 122,374,018

The hilt of the sword is normally made of leather, wire or wood. It looks like it’s made out of wood so that’s what I’ll use, oak wood to be specific because idk what else to assume. Density of oak wood is .85

So 104,017,915 grams. Add that to the big number and you get 357,070,919,616.15 grams.

Ovens said this went from orbit to basically the surface in “an instant”. That’s not the best time frame. I’ll assume a second. Google says medium earth orbit is like 20,200 km up. crossing that in a second yields a kinetic energy of uh...this

72849609020086923000000 joules.

that's like 17.41 teratons.

Maybe square cube law would be better or more accurate who knows but uh. Yeah there’s this.
