For lowballing, I will use the distance between Earth and Mars. There is no set period of time, but the pings appear is what is portrayed as a quick way, so I will call it 5 seconds between each world, more or less

The final distance between the two worlds is 54,600,000 kilometers. The high point is 401 million. Average is 225,000,000

Let's start with low-end

54.600.000x1000 = 54.600.000.000

54.600.000.000 / 340.29 = 160.451.379.7055453 (Mach)

160,451,379.7055453 / 880,984 = 182.2c

182.2 / 5 = 36.44c

Now let's do the Mid-range

225,000,000,000 / 340.29 = 661,200,640.5448294 (Mach)
