Hyperdimension Neptunia - S-Sha's Meteor (Redux)

Remaking this calculation, due to a mistake in assumption that the meteor came from space, so the speed is different. Thankfully the mass was already dealt with (credits to AlexSoloVaAlFuturo), so this will be easy to fix.

Kaltias & RKGenki asked to use the low-end, the average & high-end ablation speeds for the meteor. With this, the results are:

Low-end: 0.5 * 120767358 * 2000^2 = 57.72818 kilotons (Town level+)

Mid-end: 0.5 * 120767358 * 3000^2 = 129.88841 kilotons (Large Town level)

High-end: 0.5 * 120767358 * 4000^2 = 230.91273 kilotons (Large Town level)

Devil May Cry Updates

The instability value chosen previously was 2.5 kj/kg, so applying it now gives 2.520813945240E16 Joules (6.02488992648291 Megatons, Small City level+).

Posting the screenshot to prove that clouds do, in fact, reach the horizon, and video for reference to show how powerful the storm was :

The one determined here was 4kj/kg, so the storm's power is 4.033302312384E16 Joules (9.63982388237265 Megatons, City level).

A video for reference.

Devil May Cry 3 - "Easy, Fido!"

Making this for reasons.

In this cutscene, Cerberus freezes the entrance.

Picture 1

  • Dante's height = 60 px = 1.8 meters
  • h = 134 px = 4.02 meters (we will need that later)
  • a = 370/2 = 185 px = 5.55 meters

Now onto the second picture:

Picture 2

  • a = 5.55 meters = 342 px
  • b = 297 px = ~6.39 meters
  • Ellipse's surface area = pi * 5.55 * 6.39 = 111.4150127 meters^2
  • Volume = 111.4150127 * 4.02 = 447.8883511 meters^3
  • Ice density (frozen nitrogen) = 1026.5 kg/m^3
  • Ice mass = 447.8883511 * 1026.5 = 459757.3924 kg
  • Nitrogen's specific heat capacity = 1040 j/kg
  • Nitrogen's freezing point = -210 C
  • Melting point of nitrogen = -196 C
  • Surroundings' temperature = 0 C (there's ice around, so I think this is a fair assumption)
  • Q1 = 459757.3924 * 1040 * (-196-(-210)) = 6.69406763×1…

Senshinkan/Keira is stronk

Currently Keira's justification for her AP states:

"Her simple blows become equivalent to a person being struck by the mass of a mountain going at supersonic speeds."

Okay, let's try to find a mass of the hypothetical mountain. I'll assume it's the small mountain for the sake of safety.

According to a "Mountain and Island Level Requirements" page, the volume of a small mountain is 758590275.6m^3. The mountains usually consist of a sedimentary rock, the density value of which is 2700 kg/m^3.

Mass = 758590275.6 * 2700 = 2048193744120 Kg

As of speed, I'll use Keira's own speed value, which is Mach 2.5, or 850.725 m/s, as it seems to be consistent with the statement above:

KE = 0.5 * 2048193744120 * 850.725^2 = 7.41172727749E+17 joules = 177.144533401 me…

DmC: Devil May Cry - Another storm (Vergin Edition)

(Kudos to ShrekAlmighty for helping me with this blog)

Another storm from another Devil May Cry game... but it's a reboot this time. Don't worry, I'm not going to be biased against it all over the place.

Like in the previous case, but with the classic series, CAPE is the only option, because, again, no timeframe, since it's in a gameplay. But this time Observer Height is obviously higher, so we'll have to find it first.

I've tried to find the building on the background in a fight with Vergil, and stopped at this one, because others are either impossible to measure, or submerged into debris (I'm aware that it's lower than the surface Dante's on, but I had no other options).

According to an article on Wikipedia, each story is generally 3 meters…
