A regular worker drone was able to react to Tessa’s landing pod by jumping out of the way just before it crashed into him.

While we don’t know the exact timeframe of how long it took for the landing pod to get to Copper 9, for further context, the end of episode 2 has the AbsoluteSolver gain enough parts to rebuild J’s body, where she’s shown to be fully rebuilt by the end of episode 3, meaning we can say that the trip started at the very least by the end of episode 2. Between that, by watching through the entirety of episode 3, a full day has been shown to pass on screen, but it was likely longer than that due to jumpcuts.

Assuming the starting point of the landing pod when it took off was near the Earth system, in episode 6, we are shown a diagram of the distance between the Earth system and other systems like the Proxima system and the Copper system (Where Copper 9 is). Since we know the distance to the former system from Earth, the distance to the Copper system will be pixelscaled from that.

Earth-Proxima System Distance: 123 px/4.017499e16 meters (4.2465 light years)

Earth-Copper System Distance: 522 px/1.7049874e17 meters

For an absolute lowball since we don’t know the exact timeframe, we’ll go with a month. A midball would be a week, and a highball would be a day (Which is how long we see visibly pass during episode 3).

Low end (1 month): 1.7049874e17/2.628e6 is 64877754946.7 m/s, or 216.4088962728342x Massively FTL

Mid end (1 week): 1.7049874e17/604800 is 281909292328 m/s, or 940.348180233407x Massively FTL

High end (1 day): 1.7049874e17/86400 is 1.973365e12 m/s, or 6582.437107207013x Massively FTL+
