Premise[]
Found a couple of neat water spells, I'll quickly go over them for AP purposes. Both of these are sixth level spells and thus scale to casters of Freezing Sphere and Disintegrate (High 8-C and 8-A respectively).
Calcs[]
Lower Water[]
I believe this can also be substituted to be "Raise Water" due to 2nd Edition's reverse spell rule thing. Don't quote me on that, though.

Based on the wording, I believe this will only lower a body of water down 240 feet at most. Meaning it won't cut the ocean's height in half or anything.
Volume of Water Affected = 2400000 ft^3 or 67960.432 m^3
Mass of Water (assuming pure water) = 67960432 kg
Distance Moved = 240 feet or 73.152 m
Assuming this is done relatively instantly, given that a round is only six seconds and this is done in a small fraction of that round on the wizard's turn.
So, KE time.
KE = (0.5 * 67960432) * 73.152^2 = 181835445096 Joules, or City Block level. Neat.
Part Water[]

The variable here is the height. This spell is intended for large bodies of water so for sake of ease I will assume the deepest part of the Earth's ocean- since realistically this is the deepest body of water this spell could work on. This is about 10.9 kilometers.
Volume of Water Affected = 1216967.450 m^3
Mass of Water = 1216967450 kg
Again, assuming instant (1 second) timing. The water would need to move at least half the width to be truly "parted". Sadly this results in a speed of merely 1.524 m/s.
KE = (0.5 * 1216967450) * 1.524^2 = 1413249696.08 Joules, or Building level. Pathetic, but oh well.
