Just two speed feats.

Kiyomaro dodges a Laser (Chapter 29)

About why Biraitsu should be considered a True laser

KiyomaroHead
  • Red Line = Kiyomaro’s height = 573 px = 1.72 meters
  • Green Line = Kiyomaro’s head = 81 px = 0.261879699243 meters
LaserKiyomaro
  • Green Line = Kiyomaro’s head = 91 px = 0.261879699243 meters
  • Orange Line = Panel Height = 350 px
  • 2atan(tan(70/2 deg)*([object size in pixels]/[screen height in pixels]))
  • 2atan(tan(70/2 deg)*(91/350)) = 0.360163447 rad or 20.6358454 degrees
    • Distance = 0.71924 meters

Lasers travel at 299,790,000 m/s

  • 0.71924/299,790,000 = 2.39914607e-9 seconds

Assuming the degree of movement that Kiyomaro made to dodge the attack is of 90° degrees (1.571 radians) and using the formula of angular displacement:

  • s = r*theta
  • s = 1.72*1.571
  • s = 2.70212 meters
    • 2.70212/2.39914607e-9 = 1126284069.9 m/s, 3.75687926712286 c or FTL

This is an Outlier.

Tio and Megumi block bullets (Chapter 74.5)

BulletBlock
Maril
  • Blue Line = Maril’s Head = 126 = 23.9 cm (Average woman head height)
  • Red Line = Maril’s Iris = 14 px = 2.65555555552 cm
BulletMaril
  • Red Line = Maril’s Iris = 146 px = 0.0265555555552 meters
  • Green Line = Screen Height = 367 px
  • 2atan(tan(70/2 deg)*([object size in pixels]/[screen height in pixels]))
  • 2atan(tan(70/2 deg)*(146/367)) = 0.543339619 rad or 31.131067 degrees
    • Distance = 0.047666 meters

Don’t know what type of gun is this nor how fast, but 300 m/s should make the trick:

  • 0.047666/300 = 0.00015888666 seconds (Hypersonic+ reactions)

The distance between the Shield and Maril in the last Panel makes things weird though. I want to believe that Tio pushed the Forcefield forwards or something like that.

Edit

Credit to The Real Eugene Sims

“The gun he uses appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 686, which uses .357 Magnum bullets, which have a velocity of 380 to 440 m/s.

Using these as low and high-ends:

0.047666/380 = 0.00012543684 seconds (Hypersonic+ reactions)

0.047666/440 = 0.00010833181 seconds (High Hypersonic reactions)”
