Hello, everyone! Migue79 here to bring you all another Mega Man calcs blog. This time, I shall re-calculate the black holes in this blog given that the calculations in these blogs are ancient & outdated (in the sense that they were calced with different standards than those of VSBW's). So... I will re-calculate each of the X series black holes in this blog! I will provide proof of the black holes being real as it is a requirement per our standards for the ones that are necessary.

Mega Man X2: Charged Up Magnet Mine[]

Okay... First black hole in line... The Charged Up Magnet Mine. For the justifications of using this as a real black hole...

  • The Maverick Hunter's Field Guide calls it one.
  • Looks like one.
  • Behaves like one: destroys any enemies that come in contact with easily, it remains active as long as it remains on-screen, it sucks projectiles and smaller enemies that are literally across the other side of the screen, and it grows whenever it sucks anything in.

So... Yeah. With that out of the way, let's calculate the things one can do with the black holes!

Creation[]

269px = 0.8 meters

282px = 0.8387 meters

Mass: 282342292195860508850058735 kg or 47.28 Earth Masses

Energy: 2.49e32 Joules * 47.28 Earth Masses = 1.177272e34 Joules or 2.814 Yottatons of TNT (Large Planet level)

Kinetic Energy[]

This next bit will be calculating the in-tandem movement with a bolt of cloud-to-ground lightning in Wire Sponge's stage. So here we go!

First, the mass of the black hole.

276px = 0.8 meters

435px = 1.2608 meters

Half of this diameter is the Schwarzschild Radius.

Mass: 424459449598813499580466521 kg

(87px/2019px)*440,000 m/s = 18,959.88113 m/s

KE: 76291724405268328341459391640822395 Joules or 18.234 Yottatons of TNT (Large Planet level)

Now, this black hole can be manipulated to move at high speeds. And if my eyes don’t deceive me, they can move at very comparable speeds to that of the lightning in Wire Sponge’s stage. So as a high-ball, I will assume that this same black hole is moving at the same speed as that lightning bolt (440,000 m/s).

KE: 41087674721165146759389159232800000000 Joules or 9.82 Ronnatons of TNT (Large Planet level+)

And... That's it for the Magnet Mine!

Mega Man X3: Charged Up Gravity Well[]

Next black hole up is Gravity Well! This one's a bit peculiar given how it functions. So before I go ahead and justify the black hole this weapon produces being legit, I will write a small paragraph explaining how the weapon works now that I have access to sources explaining how the weapon works and given the weapon's a little difficult to understand.

So... Gravity Well, just like most weapons in the Mega Man X series, has 2 variants: an uncharged variant and a charged one. The uncharged variant (as described here) is a miniature pseudo-black hole that can send enemies to other dimensions (pseudo because it is not described as a black hole in the Maverick Hunter's Field Guide & this BFRing variant of the weapon bounces off of walls in the boss fight). However, this detail would only apply to the uncharged variant of the attack given the Mega Man X Super Collection, the Compendium of Rockman X and the Maverick Hunter's Field Guide did not mention that the charged variant of the weapon can do that. And given the charged variant of weapons can have extremely different functions to their uncharged variants (Crystal Hunter comes to mind with the uncharged variant sealing enemies in crystal and the charged variant slowing down time), there has to be a burden of proof on the latter variant doing similar things to the former. This burden of proof cannot be met because there is literally nothing suggesting the charged variant of Gravity Well can BFR like the uncharged variant does.

TL:DR; The uncharged variant of Gravity Well is the thing that BFRs, and it's the charged variant that can be argued to be the real black hole and what I will be trying to calculate here.

Now... After that little paragraph... I will now justify the charged variant of Gravity Well.

Schwarzschild Radius of the black hole: 2.61864407 meters

Mass: 295.24 Earth Masses

Energy: 2.49e32 Joules x 295.24 Earth Masses = 7.351476e34 Joules or 17.57 Yottatons of TNT (Large Planet level)

I won't be calculating the one in the cinematic because there's nothing suggesting that the black hole grows to be as large as a building lol

Mega Man X8: Squeeze Bomb[]

Now for Squeeze Bomb. This has already been accepted as a real black hole (as stated in X's profile). So I probably don't need to justify Squeeze Bomb being legit. Though if you still wish to see the proof of it being a black hole, let me know in the comments and I will provide the proof.

Now... On to calculating the black holes here...

Creation[]

915px = 1.60 meters

2451px = 4.286 meters

Half of the black hole’s diameter will be its Schwarzschild Radius. We will use it to calc it’s mass.

Mass: 241.6 Earth Masses

Energy: 2.49e32 Joules x 241.6 Earth Masses = 6.01584e34 Joules or 14.38 Yottatons of TNT (Large Planet level)

Kinetic Energy[]

Yooosh. Let us do this. I will be calculating the in-tandem speed of Squeeze Bomb with Optic Sunflower's orbital laser.

The scan does take place in a different stage, but this in-tandem movement is 100% replicable so I can use this pixelscaling.

Mass grows to be the same size, so I won't calculate the mass here.

Speed: (58px / 1773px) * 1.07c (this calc is accepted) = 0.035c or 10,492,736 m/s

RKE: 79499328462669001811735572027941533053471 Joules or 19 Quettatons of TNT (Small Star level)
