Explanation of the feat[]

A tired, injured, hungry, and weakened in pain Luffy threw a rock hard enough to crush a mountain.

Amazon Lily

"Tempest those don't look like mountains" yes they do. Here's a better look from the manga, here too. Here as well.

Dimensions of the Rock[]

Amazon Lily Rock Throw Calc

Green line is the diameter of the rock which will be halved for the radius

Blue line is the height

Assuming it's a cylinder and using the red line to find the height

Mountain: 609.6 m

Mountain: 323 px

Rock Diameter: 112.3 px

Rock Diameter: 211.94452012384 m

Rock Height: 110.7 px

Rock Height: 208.92482972136 m

Rock Radius = 105.97226006192m

Volume of Rock thrown by Luffy is 7370964.55 m3

Mass of the Rock[]

Density is 2700 kg/m3

2700 * 7370964.55 = 19901604285 kg (Class G)

How far did Luffy throw the rock?[]

212.3 px = 400.67517027864m

Timeframe of Luffy throwing the rock[]

http://www.watchframebyframe.com/watch/yt/jAgQV2tpSUQ

1:25:93 is when it's thrown

1:27:40 is when it lands

1 second and 47 ms

KE Of Rock[]

Velocity = 489.517066665/1.47 = 333.004807255 m/s

KE = 1/2 * 19901604285 * 333.004807255^2 = 1103466357814516.0187873153805410625 joules

Luffy's Dimensions and Movement[]

Luffy: 1.72m

Luffy: 558.2 px

Luffy's Upper Arms: 124.5 px

Luffy's Upper Arms: 0.38362594052311

0.38362594052311 * 90 * pi/180 = 0.60259821823m

Force[]

1103466357814516.0187873153805410625 / 0.60259821823 = 1.8311809e+15 N

Results[]

Luffy Throws Boulder = 1.8311809e+15 N = 1.867284852629299996e14 kgf (Class T)

EDIT[]

Ok so I've gotten several messages from people in and out of the wiki who have skimmed through this calc, even from CGMs, that this doesn't look like a mountain. That's fair.

After ridiculous amounts of help, I managed to possibly recalc the size. And because I'm lazy, I'm just going to multiply the value by (height of new mountain/609.6)^5 instead of recalcing this entire thing.

Height of Ships[]

Marine Ship Width to Height

The ship's length is comparable to Oars Jr.

Marine Ship Length: 60m

Height of Ship to Gate[]

Height of Rock[]

Rock Crack Width to Rock Crack Height

Width of Cracked Rock: 132.7 px

Height of Cracked Rock: 323 px

Height of Cracked Rock: 248.19744460736m

New Result[]

5 because there's 3 meters in the math (m3) and 2 in the velocity^2 (m/s, both of them squared), so 5.

1.8311809e+15 * (248.19744460736/609.6)^5 = 20487689662320.475462 = 2.048e13 N = 2.0883e12 kgf (Class T)

Even Newer Result[]

User blog:Eminiteable/Amazon Lily Size Calc

Drastically better scaling for the ship's height than mine

20487689662320.475462 * (295.68/46.470358509724)^5 = 2.136597e17 N = 2.178722e16 kgf
