Never thought I'd do another Fortnite calc but here we are...
On this edition of I calc some stuff we figure out how fast Galactus is! Because Massively FTL+ should in no way scale to his Attack Speed!
Lets just go...

There's already Calculations online of how big the Chapter 2 Island is, like this one
Island = 2600m
Island Line (Yellow) = 1168px
1px = 2600 / 1168 = 2.22602739726m
Galactus hand = 368px
2.22602739726 * 368 = 819.178082192m
This is all we can get from this image, luckily we have a good render of Galactus on his profile that can be used to scale the rest.
Moving onto the render:
Galactus' Hand = 56.47px
1px in the render = 819.178082192 / 56.47 = 12.512266415m
Galactus' Height = 965px
965 * 12.512266415 = 12074.3370905m
Making Galactus over 12 Kilometres tall! He really is a big boi...
Now we need his arms length, luckily we still have a good image for this, back up to the Render!
Drawing a line down the middle of our guy will allow us to find a radius of our circle, finding this value will allow us to estimate the distance crossed.
Using our Green, Lime, and Yellow lines gives us this:
- Yellow = 123.67px
- Lime = 110.14px
- Green = 152.24px
Using our previously found value for each pixels scale of 12.512266415m
- Yellow = 1547.39198754m
- Lime = 1378.10102295m
- Green = 1904.86743902m
Adding all of these up:
1547.39198754 + 1378.10102295 + 1904.86743902 = 4830.36044951m, This is our radius.
Now for our circumference:
Circumference = 2π * r
- r = 4830.36044951m
Circumference = 30350.05 metres
Now halving this:
- 30350.05m / 2 = 15175.025m
Now for attack speed:
At the start of the event Galactus swipes at us while we're on the Helicarrier, in this attack he's shown as pretty slow proportionately to a normal human, but I'm sure he's far from slow due to his size...
The way we're doing this is we're gonna find a circumference of a circle at his arms length for a radius, then half this distance to find how far he moved, then find how long he took.
I'll now be finding the timeframe of the swing using an editing software on my PC, this will give exact timestamps for us to use.
Ok so in this video the time for when he starts swinging is 2:58.693, or 178.693 seconds, and the time when he finishes the swing is 3:03.438, or 183.438 seconds
This makes the difference: 183.438 - 178.693 = 4.745 seconds, this is our timeframe.
Finally, the speed:
Simple equation, Velocity = distance / time
15175.025 / 4.745 = 3198.1085353m/s over 3 Kilometres per second!
This equates to around Mach 9.324, which is Hypersonic Attack Speed!
That's a downgrade from Massively FTL+ to Hypersonic people. But Massively FTL+ was never really legit for Attack Speed anyway soooo...
Edit: Actually I got bored so ima do a KE for this too since it's valid for it...
Galactus = 12074.3370905 metres tall
Average man is 5'9" - 1.7526m
This makes Galactus 6889.38553606x taller than the average guy
- Cube this for how much more massive Galactus is
- 6889.38553606^3 = 326995267123x more massive
Average mass of a person is 62kg
62 * 326995267123 = 2.0273707e+13kg
But we only need his arm so: Arms are on average only 5.7% of a males body mass
This makes Galactus' arm 1.1556013e+12 Kilograms.
Now for our final KE calc since we already have our speed:
0.5 * 1.1556013e+12 * 3198.1085353^2 = 5.9096862e+18 Joules.
1.41245 Gigatons!
That's Large Mountain level Striking Strength.
Oh, and it's also Class T Lifting Strength...
