Premise[]

As the title says, it's a common feat. (Also applies to blowing up Earth from the Sun).

Re-do of this calc.

Calculation[]

GBE of the Earth is actually 2.49E+32 joules as per the Premilinary Reference Earth Model. Our wiki uses the same link yet for some reason uses a 2.487E+32 Joules value, nevertheless, makes no difference (2.487 can be very easily rounded off to 2.49), very negligible at best. So I'll use this instead.

Earth's radius is 6371 km or 6371000 meters and its distance from the Sun is roughly 149.6 million km or 1.496E+8 km or 1.496E+11 meters. This is 1 Astronomical Unit (AU).

I am using the same assumption that the Sun is at the center and the Earth is at the edge here. For doing it the other way around, please check this calc instead.

I will use the same formula as Assaltwaffle did for the Super Perfect Cell calc and our Tier 5 and 4 revision calcs.

E= 4 * U * ((Er/Tr)^2), where U is the GBE of the target body, Er is the Explosive Radius (Distance from epicenter to the edge where the target is) and Tr is the target radius of the celestial body that we have in mind for this.

The result is in Quettatons. 1 quettaton is 4.184E+39 J.

E= 4 * 2.49E+32 * ((1.496E+11/6371000)^2)= 5.4917065e+41 J or 131.25493547 Quettatons of TNT (Low 4-C+, Small Star level+)

I will also use its aphelion distance of 152.1 million km (1.521E+11 meters) because the Earth needs that space for its orbit path.

E= 4 * 2.49E+32 * ((1.521E+11/6371000)^2)= 5.6767864e+41 J or 135.678451243 Quettatons of TNT (Low 4-C+, Small Star level+)

There is however, a big issue with this.

IT IS NOT SUFFICIENT ENOUGH ENERGY TO OVERCOME THE SUN'S GBE, WHICH THE FEAT IN QEUSTION REQUIRES YOU TO SCALE TO WITH CREATION FEATS FOR CELESTIAL BODIES.

So this feat should at the bare minimum, be a 4-C feat, 5.693E+41 J or 136.066 Quettatons of TNT.

DontTalkDT has told me that on top of the Earth being blown up from that far away we need to add the GBE of the Sun on top of it as well.

GBE of the Sun is 5.693E+41 J or 136.066 Quettatons of TNT.

Energy (1 AU): 5.693E+41 + 5.4917065E+41 J = 1.1184707e+42 J or 267.320913002 Quettatons of TNT (4-C, Star level)

Energy (Aphelion): 5.693E+41 + 5.6767864e+41 = 1.1369786E+42 J or 271.744407266 Quettatons of TNT (4-C, Star level)

These all scale to destruction because the formula used to obtain these numbers is primarily used to find the power of an explosion at the epicenter based on what stuff is destroyed at the edge.

As for scaling this to physicals in case it's a creation feat, it's a case-by-case basis for each and every other verse.

INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT NOTE: Once again, this is exclusively for feats where the creation/destruction feat happens with the Sun at the center and the Earth at the edge. For creation/destruction feats that happen with the Earth at the center and the Sun at the far edge, please check this calc.
