In the game, Shelly's main attack is shot from a Sawn-Off Shotgun. Shelly uses shells, so her attack speed should be 425 m/s. Her attack's travel speed is 3100 points. Every Brawler has a point figure for how fast they are. 3100 is 425 m/s, so we can just do 425/3100 to get how many m/s is 1 speed point, which is 0.13709677419 m/s per 1 speed point.

We can use this formula to know exactly how fast a Brawler is with any ability they have as long as we know their speed point amount.

  • Very Slow = 580 x 0.137096774194 = 79.5161290325 m/s (Subsonic)
  • Slow = 650 x 0.137096774194 = 89.1129032261 m/s (Subsonic)
  • Normal = 720 x 0.137096774194 = 98.7096774197 m/s (Subsonic)
  • Fast = 770 x 0.137096774194 = 105.564516129 m/s (Subsonic)
  • Very Fast = 820 x 0.137096774194 = 112.419354839 m/s (Subsonic)

The fastest Brawler through sheer running alone is Max with her Super, which is 1120 points. Would be 153.548387097 m/s or Subsonic.

Dashes in the game (which many Brawlers have) are abilities that let Brawlers dash for a short distance. We can scale all dashes in the game to Stu's Super dash, which is 3000 speed points, or 411.290322582 m/s, aka Supersonic.

Revisions[]

Jessie[]

I completely overlooked Jessie, a character who fires Electricity bolts that are used to energize her machinery, and are able to "bounce", or more specifically, connect to other targets that are closest, like how real electricity is. Should be noted that even "balls" of electricity are accepted as actual electricity. Speed of electricity is 556 m/s. Jessie's bolts slow down drastically after hitting one target, so I'll go with the initial, faster speed, to get the minimum speed.

Jessie's projectiles move at 2870 speed points. 556/2870 = 0.193728222997 m/s per 1 speed point value.

  • Very Slow = 580 SP. 580 x 0.193728222997 = 112.362369338 m/s (Subsonic)
  • Slow = 650 SP. 650 x 0.193728222997 = 125.923344948 m/s (Subsonic)
  • Normal = 720 SP. 720 x 0.193728222997 = 139.484320558 m/s (Subsonic)
  • Fast = 770 SP. 770 x 0.193728222997 = 149.170731708 m/s (Subsonic)
  • Very Fast = 820 SP. 820 x 0.193728222997 = 158.857142858 m/s (Subsonic)

Max with Super = 1120 SP. 1120 x 0.193728222997 = 216.975609757 (Subsonic+) Brawlers while Dashing = 3000 SP. 3000 x 0.193728222997 = 581.184668991 m/s (Supersonic)

R-T[]

R-T is a robot Brawler, who functions as a security camera. Their secondary attack when their body is split has them eject a signal in a 360-degree radius around them. Radio waves are the type of electromagnetic wave that is used to send signals to other devices. This is supported by the fact R-T has a Gadget named In Line that can send a signal from one part of his body to the other half.

We can safely assume these are real radio waves. They also pass and phase through enemy Brawlers and even walls. Guess what does those things? Radio waves do, they transmit through most things. Proof of R-T's main attack passing through walls, and his In Line Gadget doing the same thing.

R-T's main attack (that his In Line Gadget moves at the same speed as) has 4500 speed points. The speed of light when traveling through the medium of air is 299,702,547.236 m/s. 299702547.236/4500 = 66600.5660524 m/s per speed point.

  • Very Slow = 580 Speed Points. 580 x 66600.5660524 = 38628328.3104 m/s, 0.128c (Relativistic)
  • Slow = 650 Speed Points. 650 x 66600.5660524 = 43290367.9341 m/s, 0.14c (Relativistic)
  • Normal = 720 Speed Points. 720 x 66600.5660524 = 47952407.5577 m/s, 0.16c (Relativistic)
  • Fast = 770 Speed Points. 770 x 66600.5660524 = 51282435.8603 m/s, 0.17c (Relativistic)
  • Very Fast = 820 Speed Points. 820 x 66600.5660524 = 54612464.163 m/s, 0.18 (Relativistic)

Max with Super = 1120 Speed Points. 1120 x 66600.5660524 = 74592633.9787 m/s, 0.248c (Relativistic)

Brawlers with a Dash = 3000 Speed Points. 3000 x 66600.5660524 = 199801698.157 m/s, 0.66c (Relativistic+)

Note: Using the speed points Brawlers have within the code is just a way to get a perfectly accurate way of comparing the speed of Brawlers walking to the speed of, in this case, electricity and radio waves. It's basically the same as other in-tandem calcs but with direct numbers to compare with.
