Another recalc, though the feat itself has never truly been accepted by a calc member despite it being done multiple times. Anyways, in chapter 105 of Fairy Tail, Gajeel intercepts lightning to save Levy when he was right by Laxus beforehand. I'mma calc it.
Distance from Gajeel to Levy = 5.51 meters
Speed of Lightning = 440000 m/s
So now we need to get the distance the lightning moved as Gajeel moved 5.51 meters, and to find that, we'll need to find the position it was at as it was approaching Levy.
This gives us the first part. There are two different panels I'm pixel scaling here, and the middle one is first. We use 2.1 meters for Laxus' height, so his head's height (13% of a person's height) would be 0.273 meters.
Laxus' Head Height = 0.273 meters = 34.01 px
0.273 / 34.01 = 0.00803 meters per px
Lightning Bolt Width = 19.8 px = 0.16 meters
Now for the bottom panel. I'll use the average 1.7 meters for Levy's height, so her head's height would be 0.221 meters.
Levy's Head Height = 0.221 meters = 24.17 px
Lightning Bolt Width = 0.16 meters = 20 px
Panel Height = 500 px (forgot to draw the line... oops)
Distance from Levy to PoV = 0.221 * 500 / [24.17 * 2tan(70/2 deg)] = 3.26 meters
Distance from Lightning Bolt to PoV = 0.16 * 500 / [20 * 2tan(70/2 deg)] = 2.86 meters
Distance from Lightning Bolt to Levy = 3.26 - 2.86 = 0.4 meters
Gajeel traveled 5.51 meters before the bolt traveled 0.4 meters. Therefore...
Gajeel's Speed = (Distance Gajeel Moved * Speed of Lightning) / (Distance Lightning Moved)
Gajeel's Speed = (5.51 * 440000) / 0.4 = 6061000 m/s

Welp, Gajeel saves Natsu from lightning in chapter 123 so it's calcing time again.
Natsu's Height = 1.75 meters (this is what we use) = 72.67 px
1.75 / 72.67 = 0.02408 meters per px
Distance from Lightning to Natsu = 84 px = 2.02 meters
Gajeel had to have crossed the distance between where the lightning struck and where he was before it hit Natsu given the sequence of events, and Laxus is right where the crater left by the lightning is, so...
Laxus' Height = 2.1 meters = 97 px
Panel Height = 536 px
Distance Gajeel Traveled = 2.1 * 536 / [97 * 2tan(70/2 deg)] = 8.29 meters
Gajeel's Speed = (8.29 * 440000) / 2.02 = 1805742.57 m/s
Gajeel Intercepts Lightning = 6061000 m/s; 0.02c (Sub-Relativistic)
He Does It Again = 1805742.57 m/s; Mach 5264.56 (Massively Hypersonic+)
