Original calculation here but with some errors with the formula. There was also this version which was better, but still has some notes.

## The Calculation

• So there is the high end with 10.7865 m height. Using the This formula but using grams of tnt for Y and meters for x is Y = (x/0.28)^3.
• Y = (10.7865/0.28)^3 = 57169.9153808 Grams of TNT or 239,198,925.953 Joules.
• Divide that by half to get 119599462.977 Joules
• But for the likely more accurate low end, we use 177 cm/ 60 px * 252 px / 2 = 371.7 cm = 3.717 m
• (3.717/0.28)^3 = 2339.39517187 grams of TNT
• Cut that in half to get 1169.69758594 Grams of TNT or 4894014.7 Joules which is 9-B or Wall level

## Over pressure Method

• The Over-pressure method is more used for this type of explosion, the formula is
• Y = (R^3((27136*P+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2)
• Y is yield in tons of TNT
• R is Radius in meters
• And P is pressure in Bars, in this case, 1.37895
• (3.717^3((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2) = 0.00412727302 or 4.12727302 kg of TNT or 17268510.3157 Joules
• I also should use inverse square law since he appears to be bouncing off it rather than a direct blast
• The radius of the circular radius of the cylinder is 3.717 m
• Area of a circle calculator gives it 43.4 m^2, and cross sectional area of Scout would be 0.68 given his 177 cm height
• 17268510.3157 / 43.4 * 0.68 = 270566.52 Joules or Wall level still 9-B
• Result should be somewhere in between
