Original calculation here. The main problem with this calc is it uses the meteor impact calculator, which lowballs the resulting energy for shaking the world vastly, as I've found here.
Not to mention, dunno about using magnitude 3, considering this should be a bit more noticeable generally. Though, if calc group wants more lowball, more lowball will be given.

However, you do have to consider if every planet having violent and rather noticeable shaking is too inflationary or not. Magnitude 3, where things on the edge would thereby be only somewhat shaking, is much more conserved.

The main problem with this method is it targets a specific planet without using cross sectional area, when the far more reasonable assumption is just assuming the energy of the earthquake itself spreads across the universe. Said energy is listed out on the Earthquake Calculations.
