Skullgirls artstyle is kinda weird, so I'll scale the proportions directly.

Passing to the feat in itself:
Now, the feat is her rotating her umbrella while the bullets cross it; since the character is ispired to Germany, and the soilders seem like WW2 ones, I'll take the MP 40 as the gun used, also because it seems exactly the model used here.

About the timeframe, I'll make the average distance the bullets crossed divided for the muzzle velocity of the MP 40.

Now, for the distance, I'll take the circumference of the umbrella.
2 * 3.14 * (1.6/2) = 5.02 m
I'll make 3 ends, one where the umbrella spinned in said timeframe 10 times, another where it spinned 20 times and another where it spinned 30 times

Let's find the time frame using this.
Since it was used against an airship, the height that the building was launched is 4500 m
Medici Tower is 114 stories tall.
A story is heavy 40 MT (aka 40000 kg)
40000 kg * 114 = 4560000 kg
Lets assume the angle of throw if 45 degrees
Using this calculator I got speed to be 420.14248 m/s
KE= (1/2)mv^2= 402464923981 Joules or 96 Tons of TNT - City Block+ level
Ugarik proposal[]
Assuming 90-degree angle, KE should be 4500 m * 9.8 m/s * 4560000 kg = 201096000000 joules. However, this mass doesn't make any sense. Empire state building is literally over a hundred times heavier. Using its mass as a reference: 331122430 kg * 9.8 m/s^2 * 4500 m = 1.46024992e13 joules (Small Town level)
Cerebella punches a diamond[]

Let's try the size of the rock turned in a diamond with just a punch.
Blue line = Cerebella's height = 398 px = 5' 6 = 1.71 m = 171 cm
Red line = First rock's diameter = 336.09 px = 144.4 cm
Green line = Second rock's diameter = 272.08 px = 116.9 cm
To be safe about the rock's volume, I'll make a sphere making the average radius, that is 130.65 cm
Volume = 71463.982 cm^3
Energy = 106656.6 J/cm^3 * 71463.982 cm^3 = 7.62210534e9 Joule / 1.82 Tons (Building level+)

Now I am not sure about diamond fragmentation value, so lets try to find that ourselves
We will find Shear Strength of diamond. What is shear strength? Taken from Wikipedia
In engineering, shear strength is the strength of a material or component against the type of yield or structural failure when the material or component fails in shear.
Which means it is basically fragmentation. Again quoting same page
There are no published standard values for shear strength like with tensile and yield strength. Instead, it is common for it to be estimated as 60% of the ultimate tensile strength.
So it is supposed to be
Shear strength of diamond= Tensile strength of Diamond * 0.60
Maximum Tensile Strength of Diamond is 2930 MPa
SSD= 1758 MPa
Fragmentation Value= 1758 cc
E= 14531274125 Joules or 3.47 Tons of TNT - Large Building level
Marie Lifting strength[]
Is based on this calculation (Marie AP feat), only that instead of finding the AP, we're gonna find the Lifting Strength for such feat.
With that, we know these things:
- Medici Tower's weight = 4.56e6 KG, which is already Class A
- Launch angle = 45°
- Maximum height = 4500 m
Using the calculator used in the previous calculation, knowing the maximum height and launch angle, we know that the distance the tower crossed ranges has as horizontal distance 9000.00016 m and as vertical 4500 m.
Putting them here, I get that the total circumference is of 22352.823918866725 m, half it and we get 11176.412 m as how much it crossed.
About the time, the calculator says to me that the flight took 30.2943 seconds in total.
F = ma seems the right formula to use here:
- Acceleration = (2*d) / (t^2) = (2 * 11176.412) / (30.2943^2) = 24.36 m/s^2
- Force = 4.56e6 * 24.36 = 111081600 N = 11327170.81 KG
So still Class M, but over the double higher than Medici Tower's original weight.
Nerd1435's revision
Gonna use the method used for objects launched in a parabolic path.
Gonna still use the original sources from the previous calc.
The component of Tower's velocity along vertical direction is v*sin(45°).
Speed has been decelerated to 0 over the course of 30.2943 seconds.
So:
- V * sin(45) = g * 30.2943
- sin(45) = 1/sqrt(2)
- V = g * sqrt(2) * time = 9.81 * sqrt(2) * 30.2943 = 420.29 m/s
For the Acceleration, I'll assume that she trew the tower in one second.
- Acceleration = 420.29 / 1 = 420.29 m/s^2
- Force = 4.56e6 * 420.29 = 1916522400 N = 195430896.38 KG
Despite being still Class M, is 43.82 times heavier than the Medici Tower's weight, a whole fucking lot.
