The person who have made the HU/s and speed with the Armsburst in TF2 may have forgotten something. He has brought out the speed of the muzzle velocity from the RPG-7, which is around 115m/s. Muzzle velocity means when the propelled rocket has been shot out before the thruster kicks in. The true speed for the RPG-7 is actually around 294-295 m/s. Reminder, RPG-7 was made and used from 1961 till now as it is still useful and TF2 is from around 1968 -1972. So, let's get into the calculations:
Rocket : 1100HU/s (294 m/s)
Scout : 400 HU/s (106.9 m/s)
Heavy: 230 HU/s (61.5 m/s)
Pyro/Engineer/Sniper: 300 HU/s (80.2 m/s)
Soldier: 240 HU/s (64.1 m/s)
Demoman: 280 HU/s (74.8 m/s)
Demoman Charge: 750 HU/s (200.5 m/s)
Medic/Spy(because in the Meet Your Match update, Spy's speed increased froom 300 to 320): 320 HU/s (85.5 m/s)
Flyng Guillotine/Baseball: 3000 HU/s (801.8 m/s) (Mach 2.34) (High Supersonic Reaction/Combat Speed for Scout)
Jarate/Kukri: 1017.9 HU/s (272.1 m/s) (Mach 0.799) (Subsonic+ Combat Speed for Sniper)
(WIP)Huntsman: 1812.1-2600 HU/s (484.3-694.9 m/s) (Mach 1.42-2.04) (Supersonic Arrow speed/near bullet speed)
With MvM upgrades :
Scout: 400 x 130% = 520 HU/s (139 m/s)
Heavy: 230 x 130% = 299 HU/s (79.9 m/s)
Pyro/Engineer/Sniper: 300 x 130% = 390 HU/s (104.23 m/s)
Soldier: 240 x 130% = 312 HU/s (83.4 m/s)
Demoman: 280 x 130% = 364 HU/s (97.3 m/s)
Demoman Charge: 750 x 130% = 975 HU/s (260.6 m/s)
Medic/Spy: 320 x 130% = 416 HU/s (111.9 m/s)
Regular Sniper Rifle charge time : 1 bar(1 bar/3.3 x 200%) = 1.65s
Bazaar Bargain(6 head) charge time : 1 bar(1 bar/1.8 x 200%) = 0.9s
Since Scout/Sniper can reload, use his baseball bat/knife and so on faster:
Flying Guillotine/Baseball(MvM upgraded): 3000 x 140-160% = 4200-4800 HU/s (1122.5-1282.9 m/s) (Mach 3.30-3.77) (Supersonic+ Reaction/Combat Speed for Scout)
Jarate/Kukri(MvM upgraded: 1017.9 x 140-160% = 1425.06-1628.64 HU/s (380.9-435.3 m/s) (Mach 1.12-1.28) (Low Supersonic Reaction/Combat Speed for Sniper)
(WIP)While Pyro, Heavy and Soldier have the Panic Attack, which reloads 80% faster and with MvM upgrades, it's 140% faster. They should at least learn close combat skills with a shotgun(You know, hitting people's face with the stock?):
Heavy: 230 x 180% = 414 HU/s (110.7 m/s)
Soldier: 240 x 180% = 432 HU/s (115.5 m/s)
Pyro: 300 x 180% = 540 HU/s (144.3 m/s)
Heavy(MvM): 230 x 240% = 552 HU/s (147.5 m/s) (Still Subsonic Combat Speed [Only a little bit higher])
Soldier(MvM): 240 x 240% = 576 HU/s (153.9 m/s) (Still Subsonic Combat Speed [Quite High Subsonic])
Pyro(MvM): 300 x 240% = 720 HU/s (192.4 m/s) (Low Subsonic+ Combat Speed)
Even though you can't stack speed enhancements, in Lore, you should be able to with the Baby Face's Blaster and the MvM (and the Crit-A-Cola):
Scout: 400 x 160% (MvM + BF's B) = 640 HU/s (171.05 m/s) (High Subsonic Speed for Scout in those upgrades)
(WIP) Scout: 400 x 185% (MvM +BF's B + C-A-C) = 740 HU/s (197.8 m/s) (Low Subsonic+ Speed for Scout in these upgrades)
Baseballs are calculated to be 142 g or 0.142 kg each.
Baseball KE: (0.142/2)(801.8^2) = 45,644.71004 joules/46.6 kilojoules
Baseball KE(MvM): (0.142/2)(1122.5-1282.9^2) = 89,460.44375-116,854.1011 joules/89.5-116.9 kilojoules
The average meat cleaver mass is around 0.889041 kg.
Flying Guillotine KE: (0.889041/2)(801.8^2) = 285,787.74 joules/285.8 kilojoules
Flying Guillotine KE(MvM): (0.889041/2)(1122.5-1282.9^2) = 560,098.6083-731,606.2458 joules/560.1-731.2 kilojoules
Pyro's Compression Blast send back the Flying Guillotine with the same speed.
Compression Blast KE: 285,787.74 x2 = 571,575.48 joules/571.6 kilojoules
Compression Blast KE(MvM): 571,575.48 x 200% = 1,143,150.96 joules/1,143.2 kilojoules
The classes who are slower than Scout may have at least the reaction speed to react to the rockets.(Meet The Soldier[0:44-0:47]) Soldier is second slowest yet, he aim-dodged a few RPG-7s easily. MvM upgrades may do the same for reactions.
There you have it.
