Today i'll calc the LS needed to rip apart a tanker, something that meowstic can do

"If it doesn't hold back when it unleashes its psychic power, it can tear apart a tanker. Its unfriendliness is part of its charm."

So here we go.

The main problem is figuring out the calc. What i am going to do is two ends. 1, completely tearing apart the ship and 2, ripping it in half.

Credit to Chariot for helping me with the calc.

Now first we need to calculate the tanker's size. To get the size i decided to take the biggest tanker, Seawise giant, and then HALVE its full size. Yes, i will use an oil tanker here. This would be consistent with Sharpedos being capable of taring apart supertankers.

Thus for the size we get

Length: 229.225m

Width: 34.3m

Height: 14.9m

Oil tankers are very rectangular with minor circular parts here in there so i'll just calculate the area of it using area of rectangular prism calculator in google which makes it

Area: 23577.88 m^2 or 235778800 cm^2

I am going to use the MPA of steel since tankers are made of stainless steel which is 550 (that is the ultimate tensile strength) which in itself translates to 5608.44 kg/cm^2... quite a freaking lot.

  1. Complete tear down

in this case i simply multiply the area by the mpa in kg/cm^2 which comes out at

235778800*5608.44 = 1.3223513e+12kg or 1322351300 tons, Class T

2. Torn in half

Now this is a bit tricky. As per recommendation i will calculate the area of the middle section of the ship and then cut it by 90% so we get 5.1107×10^6 cm^2. Cut that by 90% and we get 511070 cm^2

511070*5608.44=2866305430.8 kg or 2866305.4308 tons Class G
