Calc

The maximum time frame the Karakura Crew could be running through the Dangai is 4 minutes. So based on this calc, their travel speed is this:

Karakura Crew Travel Speed = 6976740 m / (4 * 60 s) = 29069.75 m/s

The Cleaner is faster than the Karakura Crew, so its speed would be at least as fast as above. The gang, specifically Orihime (perhaps the weakest of the gang) is capable of reacting to and combating the cleaner.
