Introduction[]
Realized that Thunder and Storm's feat is actually quantifiable, so let's go.
Calculation[]
Feat is basically them creating a storm in the battle.
This is pretty much an offensive attack due of them attacking with thunders and elements in general, meaning that it can be calculated. But how strong the storm is? The fight had place in a cave, meaning that it can't be big like a real one, so let's see how small it actually is.
Obviously I can't make any pixel scaling on this because:
- As I've already pointed out in previous Earthbound calculations, the overworld's proportions are badly messed up, forcing me at using just reasonable low ends.
- If I pixel scale whole places instead of just objects, most of the cities in Earthbound would barely be Large Building in size.
About the height, most of the caves are counted as such only with 10 m of height or above, so I'll use such height value, since is also hella high compared to Ness & co, but not to the point that they can't see the top height, which I'll also use for the width.
About the length, it seems that 300 meters is reasonable making the sum of all the road between the start and the end of the cave.
For a safe end, I'll assume that it filled just one room out of 5 of them, so:
- Average length of each room: 300 / 5 = 60 m
Making another lowball with the volume:
- 10 * 10 * 60 = 6000 m^3
Using creation method:
- Storm's mass = 1.003 * 6000 = 6018 kg
- Energy = 2260000 * 6018 = 13600680000 Joules / 3.25 Tons (Large Building level)
