Overview[]
Requested by Jinx666. In one of the Mega Evolution specials, Mega Metagross clashes with Mega Charizard X and destroys the top of a small mountain in the process. That is what I will be calculating here.
The Calculation[]
Metagross Height = 309 PX = 2.5 Meters
Metagross Width = 480 PX = 3.88349514562 Meters. This is the figure I'll be using for the next image, it might be a low end since Metagross seemed to have all its legs condensed to make itself larger, if that makes any sense.
Metagross = 22 PX = 3.88349514562
Width of Mountain Top= 173 PX = 30.5383936451 Meters
Height of Mountain Top = 118 PX = 20.8296557811 Meters
Time to get the volume. I'll use a cone since it looks kinda conical. I couldn't really think of a shape that fit so I'm open for suggestions.
1/3×pi×30.5383936451^2×20.8296557811 = 20342.442118048 m^3
Or around 20342442118.047997 cm^3
Since the fragments are pretty huge, I'll be using standard Fragmentation. Some fragments are tiny though, so Violet Fragging might still be viable, so I'll make two results.
Fragmentation
20342442118.047997 * 8 = 162739536944 Joules
Yield: 38 Tons
Tier: City Block level
Forever City Block level Metagross, forever City Block...
Violent Fragmentation
20342442118.047997 * 69 = 1.4036285e+12 Joules
Yield: 335 Tons
Tier: Multi-City Block level
Final Tally and Power-Scaling[]
Yield via Fragmentation: 38 Tons (City Block level)
Yield via Violent Fragmentation: 335 Tons (Multi-City Block level)
As for scaling. It scales to Mega Metagross and that's it. Anime!Steven and Alan both have better feats via Power-Scaling I would presume, but I haven't watched the anime in ages.
