According to Paul, 96 km diameter is enough for life-wiping. With a 48 km radius, using a sphere as radius, the asteroid has a rough volume of 4.63×10^5 km^3, or 4.63e+15 cm^3.

Since i'm not sure what the method here is, whether I use destruction or KE, ill do both.
