Big Boss Catches Cocoon[]

This feat was previously calculated here by ChaosTheory123
However there are some adjusments that I feel need to be made to the calc:
- Weight needs to be recalced as we have length width and height for the machine, allowing for greater accuracy in the volume when scaling it to a M60 patton tank
- source for dimensions of Cocoon
- Lifting strength has to be measured using F=MA as Big Boss halted its momentum in the span of a couple of frames at most.
The basic methodology used in the original blog to find the weight of the Cocoon is based on the square-cube law. By finding the difference between the length of the Cocoon and the M60 tank, then cubing that number, the approximate volume of the Cocoon can be estimated.

However since we actually have access to the three dimensions of both vehicles we can just find the respective differences and multiply those three values to get a closer estimate of the volume and mass by assuming they have a similar density.
- Length: 41.1m / 6.946 m = 5.9170745752951339x
- Width: 24.3 m/ 3.631 m = 6.6923712475901955x
- Height: 25.6m / 3.213 m = 7.9676314970432617x
- Volume Difference: 315.512309303869997691431167218880406100551945938665x
- New Mass: ~315.512*46 tonnes = 14,513.566 Tonnes
But that's not it all, Big Boss actually halted its movement as it fell on him at high speeds, this means he would need to employ far more force than the simple weight of the machine to completely halt it as seen in the video. This can be measured by using a simple Force = Mass * acceleration ( in this case, decceleration) calc.
- Mass: 14,513,566 kgs
- Initial Speed: 21.862 m/s
- Timeframe: here set at 30 fps from frames 18546 - 18549 3/30 = 0.1 second
- Acceleration:21.862 m/s/01.s = 218.62 m/s^2
- Force: 14,513,566*218.62 = 3,172,955,798.92 Newtons or 323,551.446 Tonnes , about 1/3rd of the way into Class M
Scales to pretty much every major character in the games.
if you're interested about the Kinetic Energy, it should be 1.52298342423167*0.544 = 0.828 Tons of TNT now.
Raiden Halts Outer Haven[]

Like the previous Cocoon feat, I feel like there is a better way to get a more accurate Volume/Mass
- First off, the original calc models the ship after an aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, however
- The ship is a actually a submergible, of the same class as arsenal gear with nuclear launch capabilities
- Its outer design most closely resembles that of a submarine than that of a carrier
- Considering that both it's functionality and overrall design better match up that of a submarine, it makes more sense to model it after one such as the Virginia Class Sub
The methodology used here is the same, find the difference between the three sizes of both ships and multiply that value to infer volume and mass, however since we only have the length of the Virginia Class sub, we'll have to infer its other measurements through pixelscaling of this image

Sizes of Virginia class sub
- To note, every 10 pixels =1 meter.
- Important to note the fact the sub is cylindrical for the most part, hence why width is measured using the height of one of its sides.
- Length= 1150px =115 meters
- Width= 103px = 10.3 meters
- Height= 232px = 23.2 meters
Sizes of Outer Haven
- Length=640 meters
- Width= 135 meters
- Height= 125 meters
- Length: 640m / 115 m = 5.5652173913043478x
- Width: 135 m/ 10.3 m = 13.1067961165048544x
- Height: 125m / 23.2 m = 5.3879310344827586x
- Volume Difference: 393.007379805243007143382192398946157119110347738752x
- New Mass: ~393.007*7,900 tonnes = ~3,104,758.300 Tonnes
We calculate the force in newtons using the same method as before, but since this actually considerably bumps the AP of the feat I'll include it as well.

- Timeframe: we lack a clear view of Raiden forcing it to full halt, but we can infer that it took place during this small segment here set at 30 fps from frames 04649 - 04674 25/30 = 0.83333333333 seconds
- Acceleration:20.556 m/s/0.83333333333s = 24.6672000000986688 m/s^2
- Force: 24.667~*3104758300 = 76,585,693,938.06 Newtons 7,809,567.37908116 Tonnes
- KE: .5*3104758300*20.556^2 655956468576.9144 joules or 156.78 Tons of TNT
4 Gekkos can restrain Raiden so they get 1/4th of this.
Vamp directly scales to Raiden, REX/Ray should also be >/= Raiden given REX's substantially better performance vs Gekkos in MGS4.
Weapons also get this since they're necessary to take out both Vamp and RAY units, although I think only those belonging to MGS2/MGS4 Solid Snake, MGS2 Raiden and Solidus would scale. as they're the only who are shown to take out RAYs/Vamp with them.
REX's Railgun[]
It can launch Nukes at speeds of over 100km/s
Apparently it is armed with a AGM-129 ACM which weighs 1,680 kgs
Putting 2 and 2 together, I take it this means it shoots that missile at those speeds using its railgun.
Kinetic Energy .5*1680*100000^2 = 8,400,000,000,000 or 2.007 Kilotons.
This doesn't really scale to anything besides the railgun's KE itself, but it corroborates scaling and other feats given that both REX and Outer Haven (which had the railgun strapped to it during MGS4) have the ability to power it and make use of it in the first place.
