Please report any rule violations in this thread. Notifying us of such incidents is highly appreciated.
Additionally, kindly report any sockpuppets that you come across.
Only report violations regarding thewikirules. False reports due to personal vendettas are unacceptable.
Also, this thread should be for reporting actual rule-breaking, not every single little disagreement.
In cases of extreme vandalism or trolling, you can report the accounts at the VSTF wiki.
If blocked members create sockpuppet accounts to circumvent their block repetitively, or several are created at almost the same time, you may contact the Fandom Staff, to politely request permanent range IP blocks.
You can also find specific users with the Search Function by typing with the format: "User:Username"
Remember to inform members via their message walls if that you have reported them here, in case they have performed severe enough rule-violations to risk being blocked. However, this should only be used in uncertain cases, not if they have done something instantly ban worthy, or if their offenses are minor.
It is against the Fandom rules to upload any offensive images to the wiki, so in order to show screencapture evidence of extremely bad behaviour, you must use external sites, such as Gyazo or Imgur, in order to not get globally banned yourself by the higher-ups:
Do not derail the Rule Violation Threads with irrelevant nonsense or internal disputes. It is solely for making serious, warranted reports of violations of the Site, Discussion, and Editing Rules, and not for discussion or side comments. Such posts should preferably be removed by the staff, and if a member continues to derail after being repeatedly told to stop, this will result in a temporary ban.
Given the extreme levels of systematic harrassment towards this community, kindly remember to not share/post any evidence of malware or child abuse publicly in order to prevent unwillful distribution. Submit any evidence of child abuse and severe systematic threats to the police.
If something goes outside the jurisdiction of the VS Battles wiki bureaucrats, or even the global Fandom staff, you need to report it personally to the authorities.
Also, absolutely do not click on any random links from suspicious users. You could potentially access content that contains dangerous malware or illegal types of pornography, alternately tracks your IP address and location. If you are uncertain, please use this page to verify that the links are not dangerous.
However, do not feed the trolls by discussing their behaviour here, as they get excited and motivated by any form of attention. Strictly report them to the staff, who then block them and mass-delete their contributions.
If there are genuine serious problems with the behaviour of certain staff members, do not cause drama by extensively arguing about it here, but rather contact the Human Resources Group.
Well tbf, it seems that user is around here since December 2019, so "knowing what an alt is even with 75 edits" shouldnt be a reason to report and thats enough time to know what an alt is alongside other stuff about vsbw. Just my take on it
Itachi was a big fan of FNAF (something his new profile is entirely based around), the sock joined 2 days after Itachi was banned (same day he got banned from FC/OC and threatened to make a new sock), brought up Golden Freddy’s death manipulation and asked how it functioned similar to Itachi’s Golden Freddy vs Gohan thread. He weirdly messaged multiple staff members in a manner similar to Badri. Pretended not to know how to make versus threads and yet added categories etc. His profile also shows all the verses he likes and practically all of them Badri was a confirmed fan of, the only thing he didn’t mention is Ben 10 for obvious reasons.
I also think he's a sock of Badrimoin, though as I told Greenshifter on FC/OC most of the evidence isn't conclusive but you can form your own opinions I guess.
For me what really proves it is him joining an hour and a half after Itachi was banned by Promestein on FC/OC, immediately mentioning a topic that Itachi was discussing previous to being banned and the fact that Badrimoin's last posts were taunts relating to FNAF, something his new profile is entirely based around.
Something else I noticed is that he found and followed this thread instantly after making the account, which is kinda suspicious when you factor in that he supposedly didn't even know how to make a versus thread.
He also thinks that Feats cannot be used to give a character any kind of tier, and only statements count. Flash in The Human Race, yeah he wasn't going absurdly MFTL+ since there wasn't a statement saying exactly how many times faster than light he was moving.
He also thinks that scaling is meaningless due to outliers existing.
He said I had my head up my ass and that I really didn't debunk them ,the son of krypton guy, I would say not to lock the thread yet until we see if he has anything else to say. If he doesn't just block him for a few months (Seems more like an angry uninformed user with heavy bias than a troll) and lock the thread, but I legitimately want to see where this is going.
I oppose Saitama being banned, he looks like a legitamte user and not a sock. He had commented on other threads in a civil and productive manner from what I have seen. And he was saying and asking things that really wouldn't warrant making a sock.
So yeah, Saitama seems innocent. The most he did was mildly insult Fan due to a honest and understandable mistake.
I closed the thread since that was well agreed, normally a block seems harsh, but he was being very harsh to everyone as his very first comment, and we pretty much gave him multiple warnings on thread. A block seems justified, but for how long? I do think permanent is harsh however.
I'd like to hear input from other staff before I click the ban button.
-if they keep like this they are just going to ban random people because of stupid reasons, and trust me even I'm known to make Socks they are just going to accuse many innocent people of begin a sock of me
-didn't know i was tracked but anyway Well the First time i was accused for begin a sock was kind weird but at least it did make sense thanks to Zouken who saved me, but this is just ...... Okey so let's see I've Forgot to add a "c" in the middle of the word "Mocking" ignoring that I've corrected theme and since there is an Other account who also forgot a "c" mean actually I'm a Sock of him..... Dammmm this 200 IQ.
-"He's honestly so stupid, he can't even change how he communicates"
-the one who is stupid is you, the way how i communicate with People is the same way how any normal person would in this wiki not only to mention that 90% of this wiki use the same method of communication.
I'll stop, though to go as far as to say we're bullying him is pushing it, he did after all say he wished somebody was dead.
Though frankly I don't think he deserves any respect, he's lied to us and staff members many many times and has been harassing the wiki non-stop for weeks, this is literally his 5th sock, he has no intention of stopping.
Honestly I'm giving up at this point, it's tiresome, there's literally nothing that can be done to stop him making socks and eventually it will get to the point where it goes unnoticed. So yeah, he should be happy that I'm not dissecting his posts anymore, though if he does something really obvious I will point it out obviously.
I'm very sorry for bringing it up again and it'll be the last time I mention it in the foreseeable future, but I do just want to post Saitama admitting that it's him on my wall at Community Central, so if you had any doubts about him being a sock, forget about them, as I've said before, if I had even the slightest hint of him being innocent, I wouldn't report him.
Having innocent people banned is the last thing I would want to happen.
Don't know if this is the right place for this and I really don't wanna out anyone but...
Anyone want to say something to User:Rustobal? The dude keeps messaging my wall trying to argue things that put simply, I've already stated I'm not interested in, and this seems to be a running thing, almost like a troll? I ignored him previously. But dude won't let up, he posted again, which while annoying isn't actually bad, but given his resorting to explicit insults meant to degrade on purpose despite zero provocation. Kinda uncalled for in my opinion.
seems to have an extreme bias towards dragon ball( by saying stuff like "AP stomp hax doesn't matter" on each thread that involves a DB character), has insulted the mods/the wiki for "downplaying" DB characters. They are also pretty rude.
Was talking to RTX, but Talonzone does indeed sound very problematic looking at his contributions. He's rude enough to at least earn a warning. I can give him one. Calling people wankers as well as insulting staff members indeed rude.
Edit: he did mention the only reason he came was because of something his friend said and has no intention of following standard wiki protocol by the looks of it, so a warning might be too generous, but don't mind giving him one if that's not enough for a ban.
He is openly biased. He's parroted the same arguments after they have been rebuked (Agent 47 vs Spy thread, where he repeatedly claimed 47's instinct could see through Spy's invisibility despite having no such feats. He even responded with "You'll never change my mind, I'll always vote 47!" After I pointed out the lifting strength gap. Nevermind, that I'd been making and countering arguments for both sides.) He's repeatedly advertised his own threads on other threads even after being told to stop and having his comments deleted. He's even admitted to not allowing certain characters into his brackets, not because of rules, but because of outright bias against them and their verse.
I honestly don't think he intends any harm, and yeah, he was a jerk by not allowing characters because he didn't like the series, but we can't go around banning everyone who has some jerkish moment in the wiki because even Ant will end up banned that way. I think that a warning is enough.
Many of their contributions are just "(insert DB character's name) stomps" on threads with DB characters and hardly says anything other than that other than that. Its pretty clear they have a severe bias towards DB characters in general. They also clearly have something against this site/its mods just because DB characters are not at a tier they want them to be at.
Lennoxbyrd is possibly a troll. He's going around on different Pennywise threads saying "Pennywise is not universal". Even in threads where his universal form (which is 1-A these days, but used to be Low 2-C) wasn't even mentioned. He also uses terms like Megaversal.
He's also spamming (mostly nonsense on) the Homura VS Pennywise and Nanashi VS Pennywise threads, which have only just recently picked up activity again and really haven't had anything of value contributed to them.
There are verses where people were told to not apply calcs to 4 profiles even if it wasnt controversial (since it required a CRT). And this involves more than just 4. You shouldn't bypass the rules via making calcs/recalcs
Where is it stated thats bypassing the rules?
From the Comminity Message: However, I did not consider this a realistic option to maintain for a prologed time, especially given that our members still need to unwind and get stress relief from the global crisis that we are all going through, so instead we have currently simply disallowed the creation of new content revision threads, but it is still fine to try to finish the ones that are already going on.
GyroNutz wrote: what merit is there for another evaluation when the maths behind it is accepted?
Tell that to AKM Sama, since he very clearly said what I'm saying, a calc that affects the stats of multiple profiles needs a CRT before being applied. I don't know why and I even if I knew I'll likely find the idea stupid because it shouldn't be an issue if the math is right, but those are rules I was told by AKM and I trust what he says.
This didn’t need a drawn out discussion, from the start he wasn’t doing anything maliciously. If the rules need to be better clarified, then I’ll add that to the list of things to do post-forum move. For now, let’s stop discussing this here.
Let's stop adding unnecessary comments, Mista. If it doesn't address the issue, is just bloating this thread, so please.
And I feel you both are being inordinantly stiff. I think we are old and smart enough to allow a "break of the rules" that circumvents the need for said rule. What point would there be on a CRT discussing things that are already accepted and not at all changed? None at all.
GyroNutz wrote: For now, let’s stop discussing this here.
I'm very much not dropping this discussion until the double standard on the way we're treating this gets adressed. It's completely ridiculous to allow this when much smaller things have been rejected because of this rules.
For he record, I agree that no harm was intended here, that these are unusual circumstances that do not fit with our usual procedures, and that this is a minor and accepted calculation-based change in the first place, so I am not sure where exactly to draw the line for whether or not it should be allowed. It seemed rather harmless, but the calc group should usually decide which calculated version of a feat that should be used/is most reliable, if both of them have been accepted.
Anyway, it is probably best if we drop this subject, yes.
The purpose of the recalc was that the original used a now-outdated angsize method, so I was trying to correct it.
But if it means waiting even if it was accepted, then fine. Even when people told me (even staff like Therefir, GyroNutz, and supposedly you, Antvasima) you dont normally need a CRT if you are recalcing a feat. But we agreed to stop that conversation.
Well, all discussions have been backed up to the new forum, but only until May 11.
I intend to try to start a project for backing up all important revision and wiki management threads with later replies to the Wayback Machine Internet Archive though, after which we can list them all (including their topics) in a thread in the new forum.
Not only his threads are done similarly to how John used to do, but their way of speaking is also the same. Not to mention that GreekyNerd participates in literally the same kind of threads John used to (GOH, DBZ, Saint Seiya)
Again, 9A Reinhard has no battle feats and you don't even read the profiles and if you did then you'd know that Gilgamesh has the FTL ship and has immortality nullifying weapons and has nigh-omniscience allowing him to see enemy stats and movements and can see future outcomes before that match even starts.
Also later Reinhard are souls, his physical body was stated to have anti-magic, anti-accident, anti-physical.
Well, LordWhis has seemed mostly harmless elsewhere, so banning him seems very excessive, but I would appreciate if he uses his common sense to determine what kind of battles that would be appropriate for us.
No LordWhis, 99% of your matches are not even close to fair and balanced, I would say I haven't seen a single thread from you in the past months that was fair, Granted I haven't seen every match, but 9/10 times they are horrifically one sided. I just had to close two of them today alone.
Well, I'm not typing out 40 matches again, you shouldn't have deleted them.
The long and short of it is that none of them was any kind of a major stomp (barring Reinhard vs Doffy, which was a stomp by design because I wanted to see if Calaca and CinCameron20 would try to argue for Doffy, and even in that both characters were technically the same tier)
None of the rest were any kind of major stomp. What was the worst of them ? Sakuya vs Gogeta ? Saitama vs Tanjirou ? Hardly mismatches.
I'm not exactly putting Monarch of pointland against TOAA.
2. Ryuma is listed as unknown and it is a legitimate and interesting question
3. Why even have profiles for those characters if they aren’t allowed to be used
4. Mihawk is still a high 7a even with a pocketknife, a pocketknife doesn’t magically make drop him down any tiers. Doffy Vs Reinhardt was investigative not spite. And I would have never made it if the forum wasn’t on semi-lockdown.
5. Yes I wanted to know if a fight that took several days and left both parties permanently injured could have had a different outcome. Silly me, if a character beats another once they definitely beat them 10/10. It’s not like every single time there has been a Molly vs Bellatrix thread on this wiki (or anywhere on the internet really) most people have voted for Bellatrix !!!!
The link you sent has no relation to me and hypergogeta is troll on the Dragon Ball discord channel that said that Goku from Dragon Ball GT was an 8D being and he joined comicvine after I sent the discord server a link to one of the versus battles of Dragon Ball and he joined and he then joined the vsbattlewiki community
1. A 7-A with circunstantial 6-C AP that is not enough to defeat the opponent who also has a great regeneration. It is a massive stomp, and that comment of yours makes very clear that you don't understand the system.
2. Not in a versus thread.
3. Because this is an indexing site first, and a versus site second. The latter is just an entertainment, and we have a rule about using characters from verses that are still ongoing because they could lack feats and information. It applies to those characters.
4. To make people think Mihawk is so superior that he would win. Funnily enough, the joke was on you, cause people ended up voting for Katakuri when your intention was pretty clear. And as for Doffy vs Rein, making spite matches is forbidden, no matter what your purpose is. You thought Cin and I are so stupid to vote for Doffy even when Reinhardt is very well known as one of the most broken characters in the site. Spite match made to prove a stupid point by underestimating the intelligence of those who disagree with you. That's what that match is.
5. And what do you expect? We'd go with what the manga showed to us. Anything else is assuming about the fight, and guess what, they were so equal that he fought for ten days. But apparently, if a butterfly doesn't fly around Kuzan, he'd win cause he'd not get distracted and would lose a leg.
None of those matchups have any real purpose, and some of them are there to show how much do you love Zoro and Mihawk, by giving them some advantage or handicapping them to say they are so strong they don't need to go all-out.
And all of this when we talk about One Piece. I don't know what you've made with other verses.
Firstly, Mihawk scales to the Admirals. Kata scales to Marco. That’s is a reasonably big gap. (See Marco vs Akainu) I thought he needed a mild handicap. Also didn’t you say that Mihawk was probably a 6B but needed more feats in his downgrade thread so you proposed temporarily bringing him down to high 7A ? That seems like you being kind of duplicitous but OK...
Secondly, you’d waiving me motivations I do not have. Maybe I’m a bit salty about Mihawk losing his 6B rating for no real reason but Ok, I’m fine with it. I have bigger issues in life. I definitely do not do any of the things you say.
Your whole point about Akainu vs Aokiji is dumb. People make battles between characters who have fought in canon all the time.
Ok, maybe I'll conceed that I have a tendency to just look at the tiers of characters when making match threads and not at other stuff like Hax and intangibles. If I see 2 characters are on the same tier, I make a thread. This occasionally leads to AP stomps (Byakuya vs Saitama), occassionally to hax stomps (Nico Robin vs Ren) and occassionally even to skill stomps (Saitama vs Tanjirou). I'll even concede that I sometimes make fights that I suspect might be very one-sided if they are particularly thematic and cool match-ups.
I'll even concede that I think that the Mihawk downgrade was bullshit and should never have gone through and the idea of a fodder character like Cracker and Dracule fucking Hawkeyes Mihawk having the same tier makes me physically ill. I kinda think it was my fault for constantly bringing up how Mihawk was a 6B to annoy people on the One Piece general discussion thread.
But to say I'm some sort of a troll who mostly makes stomp threads. Or that 90% of my threads are stomps. Or that I intentionally make stomp threads is madness. Sure I make an accidental stomp thread every now and then but doesn't everyone ? As is the idea that I'm some sort of crazed fanboy, wanking certain characters. There are people who are much worse on this wiki than me.
Also, there is nothing wrong with doing a match that has happened in canon !
Well, for the record, I also think that Mihawk is likely on the same level as the Yonko if going all-out, but it seems like you have shown a bad case of judgement in general regarding matchups, so we might have to forbid you from making them for a little while, so you can think through what you did wrong.
LordWhis, you are not allowed to create any versus threads for the next 3 weeks, and should try to do better than currently afterwards, or the time duration might get longer the next time this happens.
Although I should note that other members eventually started showing signs of toxicity, as well. But it was started due to Mob's constant downplay of WH, and, while not being direct, still behaving in a way that portrayed his negative view of the other members.
Since the last report of him got forgotten, I'll go ahead and report Tylerdietz, he's consistently ignored the wiki pages, and wanked Dragon Ball characters to extremes. Probably should get a warning, if there's anything blatantly rude that I haven't seen, or at least someone should comment on his contributions, if not.
By the way, just want to note that I wasn't suggesting a ban for the previous person. I'm just saying that I don't know how the staff determine punishments here to much detail, and was just saying that, for all I knew, it could be worth a ban. I agree with a warning for him, though.
I should also mention that he's disregarded speed being equalized in a match, more notably in a match where it didn't work in Goku's favor, has used unnecessary language when claiming that a DB character stomps, and has made frankly silly claims, such as saying that BoG manga Goku is 2-B.
That doesn't mean we should assume he's a troll. I do agree that it could suggest something like that, but having a blatantly random name doesn't automatically mean someone is a troll, let alone someone who should be perma banned. Imo, when it comes to even warning, let alone banning, evidence of their behavior, beliefs, and intentions, is completely necessary to determine what should be done with them. Just one spite thread and a weird name isn't nearly enough for more than just a warning. Until they make an insult, or create multiple spite threads to the point of absurdity, I don't think a ban is even worth debate, ngl.
After commenting on his wank of Goku, and mentioning that I've reported him, he's resorted to insulting me. I'm still not sure if this is worth a ban, but I think a warning is definitely necessary, by now. Although I definitely see him eventually being banned, in the future.
I could see him being a troll, but a sock account is unlikely, imo. Most sock accounts would go out of their way to try making consistent spite threads, potentially insulting the wiki's members, and likely wank or downplay certain characters. None of his behavior has particularly come off as rude, he hasn't really wanked or downplayed characters, and has only made one spite thread. The name, while a possible indication of it being a troll or potentially sock account, still isn't very reliable info, imo.
