Hi, since I was busy, I was unable to answer your question. Yes, the ability is the same, since both use the "change reality to fit your desires" power all residents of the Afterlife have.

Also, you mentioned you wanted to read the series, right?

    • I see. That definitely should make the ability is 1-A in nature.

I was more interested a long time ago, but I am still interested in reading it. I have watch the anime, so I guess another important question is how accurate the anime is to the source material, and is it fine to continue from it? If it is accurate, what part should I start from as well?

I love meta fiction in general, so this series has obviously caught my attention

    • I personally never watched the anime myself, but funnily enough, the author of the novels did, and he commented about it on the afterwords. He apparently liked it a lot. Exactly at what point does the anime end? I know they reach Bouichirou, but how far does it go after it?

    • I can rewatch the final episode to answer that question. It's been years since I watched it. I watched it long before i had even left my first comment on the wiki, if I recal correctly

    • Oh, ok. Also, don't wait for much from this series, specially since the metafictional side is slowly built up across the series befre taking center stage on the final story arc.

    • I see. You can watch it on Crunchyroll for free. It was a fun watch for what it was, and, apart from any connection to the light novel, it's worth the watch. It's only 12 episodes, so I think it is worth the time investment. I'll get around to watching it again

    • I'll pass on that, I don't want to touch anything those people were involved with.

Also, by checking, I found the anime ends on Act 5 of the novel. There are 13 Acts.

    • Oh, you have seen the long named dude's video on it then? Kek

      Thank

    • Long named dude's video?

    • This dude:

He's released 2 different videos on why you should pirate anime, and are very compelling

    • Never watched either of them. I hate Crunchyroll due to my ethics as a transalator, showing me they are a bunch of egocentric jerks who want to have the total monopoly on an industry where variety is crucial, shuting down anyone who's against them. And let's not talk about what they actually do with the money they get from the people... "it's to support the industry" lmao.

This intrigues me. What DOES Crunchyroll do with the money that disgusts you so?

I was just here to ask if Iapitus could tell me where to find a list of characters banned from matches, but this caught my attention.

    • Basically, keep it to themselves, giving such a small amount of it to the studios they say to support that you'll be supporting them more if you bought the Japan-exclusive merch.

    • @Zenjutsu

I can still answer your question about the banned characters if you want

    • Also, can you do me the favour of closing this? I don't want third parties to get into this.

        Loading editor
    • Yeah, how do I do that?

        Loading editor
    • Wait, I figured it out
