Sol doesn't start with his hax and focuses on his fire attacks instead. I'm pretty sure Link can petrify him before he can dish out DI. Voting Link for now.
Link hardly petrifies in character. Also considering that Fi won’t work and stasis and Ancient arrows won’t work either, the actual good stuff Link will need to use for it to help him beat Sol is severely limited.
Information Manipulation is the power to control, alter, and even destroy information itself, an incredibly useful ability given that information exists throughout everything in some form or another. On a small scale, this can allow for the analysis of information, manipulating data, and potentially even directly drawing information from sources and absorbing it to use for one's self.
That shouldn't be there, ToP granting Low-Godly regen was rejected (It's why Ganon has that regen in his standard abilities key instead of his Triforce of Power key) so I have no idea why that's there.
1) There's no exact way of saying how far above baseline Link is, but the scaling chain is Composite Link>>>>>>>Fierce Deity Link>>Majoras Wrath>Majoras Incarnation>Majoras Mask>>Skull Kid possessed by Majoras Mask>=Baseline
2) Does being a Gear make him anything akin to a demon? If not then it shouldn't make him more vulnerable.
Skip to 2:09 and watch the rest Ganondorf was clearly shown to be revived by the Triforce of power, he dies, Top appears on the back of his hand, twitch of fingers and than comes back to life.
Also most importantly even the conversation between the sages talk how the Triforce of power appearing and saving Ganondorf was some kind of Divine joke.
Saying that the Triforce dosent have low godly is simply false when proof is right there, also if it wasn't the triforce how would the sages even be able to kill him weapons of light are not enough to kill Ganondorf its been stated so many times its ridiculous you either need triforce, Master Sword or a Variant or silver Arrows.
Anyway for now I vote inconclusive but if low godly is added back my vote goes to link also can't link just wish him dead or out of existence?
Link rarely uses the Triforce to wish his opponents away, even if he did it won’t work cause Sol resists both.
He dosent rarely use it he always uses it its just because the triforce is literally an endgame power that you gain well at the end and each time he got it he would straight go to wish is enemies out of existence fixing an entire reality kill his opponents or whatever else.
Link is always shown to use the triforce the moment he has it.
@Ashen The only time the Triforce ever erased someone it did so by slamming a statue into them instead of just instantly sending them to nonexistence, not saying it'll try the exact same thing as it did in Skyward Sword but going by it's only shown EE feat its likely it won't just poof him out of existence the instant Link wishes for it. Plus Sol also resists it anyway as glass already said so it ultimately doesn't matter.
@Crimsom I don't think petrifiing is a wincon here since Sol resists transmutation and from what I've seen on the Link vs Kratos thread that also counters petrification.
Link has more chance of winning this hell he could use the four sword to make 3 extra clones of himself that are equal to him in every way attack him from all angles and either seal or outright kill sol.
That’s not even remotely close to being the same thing when he has a damn story that fleshes out his personality and mindset in combat as opposed to Composite Link who has nothing for what he starts off with aside from his popular weapons.
Yes, however you also ignore what Sol could do before he even busts out sealing. Sol is also a gifted fighter and is also not an idiot. I never said the Sealing limited itself to evil. I asked whether Link would even use it on a non evil opponent, at least right away.
We never argued that Sol wouldn't do that. However, the moment he sees that he's fighting an opponent who is clearly deadly enough to harm him (and negate his healing factor), I doubt he wouldn't go to Dragon Install at that point.
@Cal that’s a strawman argument. We never even brought up Zelda lacking cutscenes. We brought up the fact that Sol has a define mindset due to GG’s cutscenes as opposed to a composite version of Link that’s not in any of the mainline games who’s mindset doesn’t go beyond master sword and hylian shield at the start of the fight.
@Glass. Yeah. And so does every character who mains a sword will lead with their sword and shield if they have it. It’s not a Link specific thing. I dare you to find me one character who’s main thing is that they’re a swordsman that leads with something other than swinging their sword.

Cal, you realize that this isn't the point right? Why are you acting like this is an attack on Link? Like your point here does not address his argument, but only proves his point. This isn't about "Every swordsman", this is about Link.
My point is that both will combat each other for the majority of their fights with sword swinging if we’re being analytical when it comes to other powers and characterization, with a little fire and arrows here and there.

Link too have cutscenes of him doing other things then just using sword and shield hell every link has a character it's just less on your face than other characters.
Okay, what scene have him start off a fight with BFR or Sealing?
Skyward sword in that game Link is basically spamming sealing techniques.. Well during the whole game lol the first moment link meets the imprisoned he uses a Sealing move the game basically shoves it in your face inside and outside of cutscenes Fi won't even shut up about it and every time Link used it, it got stronger.
Link ALTTP, ALBW, four sword there are entire cutscenes attributed to link using items to send his enemies into the ghostly ether (BFR move) or hell the moon pearls entire gimmicks it's to allow you too transport yourself /others or send things in a mirror dimension or dark world.
And just basically trap them there or do whatever you want.
Triforce in the hands of Ganon can do the same thing can't see why can't link use the same thing.
Dragon dosent change anything he either lead with hax or match Sol since Sol will attack with his sword at first.
Also why are you guys ganging up on Cal like that "Yeah, Cal is not on his LoZ team's side. I believe that about as much as I believe that the Pokemon Fanbase isn't toxic." I'm gonna be plain and simple throw away that sarcasm and shitty attitude and stop assuming everything it's a debate here so be civil.
Sorry it's just with how many rules there is and steps to follow I always assume there as to always be calc no matter what (I blame the Zelda curse for that in trying to upgrade up to 3-A the reason that I'm sceptical) but ok
