Please report any rule violations in this thread. Notifying us of such incidents is highly appreciated.
Additionally, kindly report any sockpuppets that you come across.
Only report violations regarding thewikirules. False reports due to personal vendettas are unacceptable.
Also, this thread should be for reporting actual rule-breaking, not every single little disagreement.
In cases of extreme vandalism or trolling, you can report the accounts at the VSTF wiki.
If blocked members create sockpuppet accounts to circumvent their block repetitively, or several are created at almost the same time, you may contact the Fandom Staff, to politely request permanent range IP blocks.
You can also find specific users with the Search Function by typing with the format: "User:Username"
Remember to inform members via their message walls if that you have reported them here, in case they have performed severe enough rule-violations to risk being blocked. However, this should only be used in uncertain cases, not if they have done something instantly ban worthy, or if their offenses are minor.
It is against the Fandom rules to upload any offensive images to the wiki, so in order to show screencapture evidence of extremely bad behaviour, you must use external sites, such as Gyazo or Imgur, in order to not get globally banned yourself by the higher-ups:
Do not derail the Rule Violation Threads with irrelevant nonsense or internal disputes. It is solely for making serious, warranted reports of violations of the Site, Discussion, and Editing Rules, and not for discussion or side comments. Such posts should preferably be removed by the staff, and if a member continues to derail after being repeatedly told to stop, this will result in a temporary ban.
Given the extreme levels of systematic harrassment towards this community, kindly remember to not share/post any evidence of malware or child abuse publicly in order to prevent unwillful distribution. Submit any evidence of child abuse and severe systematic threats to the police.
If something goes outside the jurisdiction of the VS Battles wiki bureaucrats, or even the global Fandom staff, you need to report it personally to the authorities.
Also, absolutely do not click on any random links from suspicious users. You could potentially access content that contains dangerous malware or illegal types of pornography, alternately tracks your IP address and location. If you are uncertain, please use this page to verify that the links are not dangerous.
However, do not feed the trolls by discussing their behaviour here, as they get excited and motivated by any form of attention. Strictly report them to the staff, who then block them and mass-delete their contributions.
If there are genuine serious problems with the behaviour of certain staff members, do not cause drama by extensively arguing about it here, but rather contact the Human Resources Group.
There was some kind of glitch when I used WHAM. It deleted the entire thread rather than just the troll comments, and it was not possible to restore properly.
This happened to me once with a Dragon Ball thread. I accidentally edited a user's comment thinking it was my own comment (I was a bit distracted at the time), and, after I noticed what happened, I tried to remove the edits from my contributions, but it ended up eerasing the whole thread.
So no, this isn't a one-off glitch. It happens rather frequently.
The Dev wiki staff helped me to install a new filter that should prevent all accounts that are less than 4 days old or have less than 200 edits from changing any discussion thread topics.
This is what they did. I don't know if they will fix this bug in the WHAM script though.
Definitely not 50, and preferably not 100 either. The trolls are fanatic enough to be able to reach that degree of edits with an account before going on a thread topic changing spree. 200 should be beyond their patience though.
Reporting user Idazmi, who seems to be a troll, or at least someone with severe bias against the Star Wars universe determined to downgrade the whole verse on this wiki.
He's been causing a lot of problems in [https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Thread:2998634 this thread], severely derailing it from the original topic and also stonewalling against all opposition to his viewpoint. He seems to think all EU profiles should be removed because they "aren't canon and were never canon", and also seems to advocate for things like Tier 8 Star Destroyers.
I seriously think we need a blog on calculations justifying their existence.
70 percent of users like Idazmi just dont know how the justification even works. On like pixelscaling, measuring sticks, basic principles of KE etc.
Btw dont think he is a troll, but he is at the least stone walling. I say a warning is good enough for me.
The issue is done and dusted as far as I read.
Ask the older members who knew Fan ideally.
Dargoo could comment but he wasnt around when Fan had his breakdown. Just as an example, not to be taken as ‘lets not ask the newer members if Fan deserves to be unbanned!’
Just saying the older members and those who knew Fan should probably have the most sway.
Half of the admins that Fan was staff with have either quit, been banned (suck it Blue), or just became inactive.
Matt, Dragonmaster, Prom, Azzy etc etc should ideally be the judges.
Still am fine it, I dont see any harm.
You must of got that confused with him being an Admin on the server itself. Terrible admin at that
No. I just consider all staff to be admins.
It is just everyone above me is technically right that Blue was never an admin.
Just a discussion mod and calc group (mostly a mod before he got banned since he quit doing calcs)
Enough derail. Lets talk about fan guys, pls?
I shouldnt have brought it up, my derail. My fault.
I'm pretty sure she's an obvious sock of Twisted Little Raven/Dragon Adlia. And she was banned long before BlueDash and other people, but she was a Bleach who exaggerated the statistics and abilities often, as well as a LordAizenSama fan. She's also known for harassing people both on and off site. I'd say the ban is justified and could be expanded.

Well her only contributions were in NNT and Bleach.
Both verses she always liked but that is my last comment on the matter.
Imho, people should get a second chance to improve. An infinite ban for one mistake is okay for certain situations, but if a person really wants to improve, then they should get a second chance. Plus, I don't see any harm. If he repeats the same mistakes again, we can always ban him for good this time.
I think only Matt was against giving him another chance?

There is no such thing as being "Not mentally ill" in no such capacity Ant, that is actually insulting.
People can get treated for it, and they can even live with it, but they never lose it.
I do not subscribe to that it is impossible to recover and get better, or that it is offensive to believe that people can change, evolve, and improve. Mentally mostly healthy people can grow unstable for a period of time and then recover. I have personal experience in this area, and know of other cases as well.
However, this is the wrong place for such a discussion.
Again. I reported this once, they just changed "Star level" to "Universe level". I don't need to say that Universal level Naruto is bullshit, and the same arguments again. The dude also changed @Astral's comment to "I am gay" while quot'ing
I have warned him, and made it clear that he will not be receiving another chance. If he continues his behaviour, by all means, ban away. I just wanted to give him a chance to allow him to improve his behaviour if he feels so inclined.
You are either ignoring what you've been warned about or you entirely don't understand what you are being warned about. Still, those comments were unneeded and 2 recurrences after being warned is not a good at all.
@AKM Sama, this comment especially was very rude. And there is also this comment being innapropriate. Calling characters wank may not be ban worthy, but calling people wankers is banwagon material, or at least warning and ban if they ignore that warning. And same with laughing at people/deliberately mocking them and the warning he got.
But this isn't a discussion thread, I was just clarifying more context.
I mean... He strikethroughed the last sentence as well. At least for that comment. L̶i̶k̶e̶.̶.̶.̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶k̶n̶o̶w̶ ̶h̶o̶w̶ ̶o̶f̶t̶e̶n̶ ̶p̶e̶o̶p̶l̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶s̶u̶l̶t̶ ̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶s̶ ̶u̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶s̶t̶r̶i̶k̶e̶t̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶?̶
It comes from multiple repeating insults towards multiple users and staff members. And we did give him a strict warning, but he flat out spat on that warning. It wasn't an instaban nor a permaban, but he needed a block regardless, but I'm fine if someone prefers to shorten it.
I would like to report ThePixelKirby for vandalism, by removing a match from Fifteen's page without approval. He removed the match on Fifteen's page without posting it on the Removal thread, and then seemingly would have removed it from Composite Human's page without approval if it wasn't locked, judging by his wording of his comment that he made on the removal thread. Not a single person replied to his comment (up until me) or agreed to the removal of the match, yet he had done so anyway. Whether or not the match is a stomp or not is another issue, because it should have gotten approval to remove it regardless of the status of it, especially since it was a staff member who added it to the pages after an official submission was made.
I'm going to add the match back to Fifteen's page now, since it wasn't supposed to be removed to begin with.
I'll post this publicly. I don't wish to get into the debate between you two, or at least, I wished I could avoid it, but I appear unable to do so.
Pixel has petitioned multiple times for the match to be removed on the premise it was a stomp, and it was indeed closed for being probably a stomp. This has been in the Removal Thread for sometime.
It is wrong Pixel removed it without saying he is, but it wasn't totally without warning when the man has been gunning it down for awhile and it seems Schnee agreed enough to lock it down. I won't comment on whether I believe it is or isn't, since it includes Fifteen, who is practically cursed at this point, and Composite Human, who is absolutely cursed.
This isn't rule violation worthy, it should have gone to a mod or otherwise directly and handled that way. Moving on.
It possibly being a stomp was not the only reason it was removed, and the grace had run out on the match several hours before it had been closed. I wasn't claiming it was without warning, I'm saying it was without authorization or proper procedure. The main reason I reported it was because i did not want to get into an editing war when I restored the match to the profile.
I'm dead serious when they have a Discord server where they talk shit about anyone who disagrees with their stastics on Sonic and go on threads to to conviently wank Sonic characters against anyone who opposes them.
@Hellblade3067 if what you are saying is true, it’s not the best idea to come here to insult them. If they are truly that toxic then they will be banned only if they continue their behaviour here. Same can apply to you. Don’t bring yourself down to their level.
He's actually not wrong about the existence of servers like that, but on that matter:
It's not on the site. Toxicity isn't really something that can be forcibly changed, but having it quarantined in discord is better and more manageable than drama exploding on site
Being mean to people offsite isn't actually against the rules on its own, and is totally unenforceable. How are we supposed to know if someone texts someone else and calls someone a dick or something? Removing the outlet of another platform only puts problems here anyways
The discord server that got people banned had a lot more going on, and not everyone in it even was banned.
That being said, I don't think we should ban hellblade due to him not even being wrong and the stuff he's said not being particularly bad. His other contribs seem relatively notmal, so if he's able to not start strife with the sonic people on the site (or other problems) then he should be fine.
I'm suspecting that this user is a sock of a previously banned user, Yellaninja. He acts very similarly and one of his 1st threads was this another Saiyan Saga downgrade thread that Yella got banned for being so aggressive about. Not to mention he joined literally on the same day Yella was banned

It seems like a high-possibility since their style of writing looks about the Saiyan Saga topic looks about the same in conclusion.
Well I checked out his latest contributions have a look at this
Edit looking at it, it could be taken as a simple annoyed response to another hostile user. Perhaps this is all some big misunderstanding but his troll like response to another troll, similar writing style, and the fact he used the exact same argument in an attempt to downgrade dbz makes it seem like its nothing more then a sock/troll account made by a previously banned user.
Looking at this post, where he's trolling another troll. I'd say this is a typical troll profile; and likely a sock. Same with the exact same repeated argument as the last guy.
Also, his username; DeathtoGriffondor sounds very close to "Death to Griffon". It even purposely misspelled Gryffindor to match it, and the main reason for the previous user's ban was harassment toward Lord Griffon; I think it's cut in paste. This guy's a sock.
So he's gotten 2 warnings from Antvasima, both of which had long discussions that appear to be him refusing to collaborate. I guess that does settle for a block, but how long? I also remember times he's behaved with hostility I might add.
Honestly, I am not opposed to block or warning since KTouma545 and TArclight are so new. I do want to bring the fact the topics they look to argued about were brought up in past threads and were rejected not long ago.
I want to bring up the last point in threads are perhaps the most direspectful comments that I saw people made against unruly and disrespectful that I saw made against the wiki community and staffs.
I guess they broke these rule sites:
Avoid talking badly about other wikis and communities, as we do not want any conflicts or bad blood. It is considered especially negative to talk badly about the excellent Anime Characters Fight wiki, as its staff has been of great help for developing this site. Also, we respect the OBD for making lots of useful calculations, so do not insult them either. In addition, do not write anything that can be interpreted as harassment of real people.
That said, we must also have the right to defend ourselves within our own borders. As such, everybody who visit this wiki strictly to attack us, or try to dismantle our tiering system, are categorically permanently banned from our community.
Yeah, I think those two might be trolls and possibly socks of each other, especially since they're kudosing their own posts and claiming their favorite character is "Shitted on this site". But I think a warning for both of them is fine. I got a little tied up with stuff IRL so I can't warn them ATM.
Possibly a troll thread? It was created by one of the two possible socks/trolls who were just arguing for alien x being more powerful/being S*** on... Which leaves me thinking this is a troll rather then simply a poorly made thread
I'm honestly not sure if this is report worthy, but I think it should at least be brought up. The user Likelytierzero made a thread (https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Thread:3265280) that was closed down by Antvasima due to it already being discussed on a separate thread. Almost immediately afterwards he just created the thread again (https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Thread:3269251) despite already knowing it was unnecessary. His contribution history in general seems to be quite intrusive, such as contacting admins for pointless reasons. At the very least, I think someone should talk to him about proper discussion on here.
As a clarification, I had been starting no beef. JohnCenaNation already has a clear history since before of just starting discussions where he keeps a nonflexible mind and just continues arguing against ideas just because he dislikes them, even admitting it himself once.
Granted on second thought, that's actually unnecessary I can't argue that. I acted too much based on previous occasions where he made many threads just like this that went absolutely nowhere, so I'll abstain from doing that again.
He was banned long before I ever joined, but I think I recall there have been plenty of times he pretended to be much nicer only to do a U-Turn. And wasn't he one of the worst trolls NarutoForums ever had? I know he's also been a really bad JRPG downplayer alongside a lot of the Anime/Manga verses.
However, I believe it was Matthew Schroeder who might know more about him. But I'm willing to here what other staff members and former staff members; preferably those who known him for long to have the best say.
I think that he was being relentlessly unreasonable in trying to perform very drastic upgrades to his favourite characters, and wouldn't drop it no matter what.
This was early in the rebuilding of the wiki. We had a small staff, were considerably more inexperienced, and had to be stricter to restrain the chaotic nature of the wiki back then. Things have stabilised since then.
Honestly, I wasn't active when he was banned so I don't know much. Howver, based from on informations brought about his past notoriety, I am extremely skeptical and like @AKM Sama I don't trust Tonathan100.
It wasn't just his wank and downplay habits, it is true that he tried to paint Superman and DC Comics as the most powerful character and verse in fiction at every opportunity he saw and downplay pretty much every other medium. People could basically say he was a BeyonderGod Jr. But he's also frequently been extremely hostile on NarutoForums and was constantly showcasing this "I am God" attitude towards everyone who disagrees with him. I think some examples shown on the Chrono Trigger calcs comment section also give examples. I think he also harassed ProtoDude/ClassicGameGuys often.
There are also times where he apologized for his behavior, but immediately went back to causing trouble the very day he was unbanned. He also has done pretty much the same type of stuff in both 2017 and 2018.
Do you guys have any idea of the messages he sent to members on Narutoforums before being permanently banned? It's stuff I can't even say without quoting because I'd get permabanned from FANDOM just for uttering it. But let just me say that it involved a lot of words that start with n, f, and also an act that starts with r. Also typical "I'm going to kill you" except described in gruesome detail.
Tonathan was permabanned from Narutoforums. Do you have any idea what an accomplishment that is? That place is basically the 4chan of Battleboards, all people do there is insult each other all the time. And he managed to do it.
I heard of people who've been toxic for over 20 years and that not even going to prison for that long did them any justice tbh. People who are That toxic shouldn't even be allowed on the internet; and if he's as truly the bigot Matt says he is, people like that really should go to prison IRL. He's also extremely dishonest from what I here and I trust Matt's input on people like him very much.
So in other words, I don't think we should allow him back.
Edit: I read Tonathan's post about me; and I was just remembering what I heard from other users about the 2017 and 2018 incidents. Or This user being a suspect a while back. But, this thread does show what he did to ProtoDude. He also called him a homophobic slur.
If he sent death threats to people the way Matt describes and this wasn’t something that happened several years ago where he has changed or something, then I agree with not letting him here. It could be dangerous and a pretty bad look if we let someone with recent and pretty criminal behaviour onto the wiki.
HereComesBigBoi has come back after his month long block and he doesn't seem to have shaped up. He seems to have a problem against Naruto and is very obnoxious about it. I tried to give him an advisory warning before reporting but he ignored me, accused me of a bunch of stuff and shut down the thread.
Unoriginal Memes is usually quite nice, but users shouldn't remove Vs threads. Even though Vs Threads are pretty unimportant. He just needs a reminder and should simply ask a staff member to close it instead. They definitely need a better reason than just, "Favorite character losing", but the thread being too chaotic sounds like a better reason to have it closed.
Red Terror might be a problem, but he's been here for months. I will warn him though, but it looks like a troll move yes.
Don't know about the Pandius website; however, said URL might have been a fake URL to a different website. And as Uldmaster said, the URL literally links to an unprivate website that appears to be spyware hacked.
Sorry if this is derailing but when I searched the word “Mystcosm” on Google, it showed the same site without the https:// at the beginning. I clicked on it and there seems to be nothing wrong with it.
I recently saw a report that fandom was altering links with the http format to the https format for an unknown reason causing errors when the site isn't available for https it returns/issues. Im not sure if its related...
So should we ban this user and remove the thread he made on Uldmaster's wall? Links to phishing sites is ban worthy offence, and he seems to be acting like he's clueless, but that could just be acting.
I also clicked the link myself and the first thing I got was a warning of the site being not-private and potentially dangerous.
DarkDragonMedeus wrote: So should we ban this user and remove the thread he made on Uldmaster's wall? Links to phishing sites is ban worthy offence, and he seems to be acting like he's clueless, but that could just be acting.
I check @Red Terror96's contribution, the user seems pretty tame. Futhermore, the link is working quite well with the evidence provided showed in my Google Chrome Browser. The user didn't edit it original post so I don't think @Red Terror96 is malicious.
