  • Probably my last one between two verses that I love...for now.

    6-C forms

    Speed is equalized.

    Starting distance is 15 meters.

    Fight takes place in Namimori.

    Who wins!?

The Adventurer: 1 (Enryu The Red Tower)

Precognitor to the Mafia: 3 (Xanxussama1010, Iapitus The Impaler, TheArsenal1212)

    • I am not that knowledgeable with tower of god, how does his matter manipilation works?

        Loading editor
    • It's not conventional matter manipulation. It's just that the energy of the verse are the literal particles that make up everything in the tower. So controlling shinsoo is controlling matter and energy.

    • This is difficult, but I'm leaning towards Bermuda as it appears that most of Zahard's offense and defense is hard countered by Bermuda's warping ability. I'll hold my vote until some ToG experts come through tho...

    • I'm a bit of an expert on both. Though obviously more so on KHR.

What you said is exactly why I made this match. Zahard has incredible versatility and AoE. But Bermuda, while having a rather severe range disadvantage, makes up for it with his infinite short warping, which can get him in and out of most situations. And both have great extrasensory perception. Bermuda should also be a more tactical fighter.

I think it'll be close either way.

Oh yeah, Zahard scales to 30.1 gigatons. Bermuda scales to a good deal above that, so he should hold the AP advantage, if that helps in your analysis.

    • Zahard would be able to defeat Bermuda in CQC since Baam, someone who mixed and learned various martial arts said that his ability in CQC was inferior to that of Zahard, he would also be able to detect a people several kilometers away so he would be able to dect the Warp Holes and Zahard also has Statistics Amplification, although it is not at the Bermuda level.

Should one of the Warp Holes take Zahard, he will be able to deflect in time and if that takes one of the parts of his body, he will be able to regenerate quickly and probably the flames of Bermuda will be canceled by Zahard, since Baam, a character with Shinwonryu inferior to Zahard, managed to dissipate an attack of energy of a Low 6-B+ and Zahard is superior to Baam in that question.

Bermuda feels the heartbeat will be very useful against Zahard, since when he encounters an opponent that makes him serious, it amuses him and makes his hear speed up with emotion, although I doubt this will help against the Vibrations and big waves of air that Zahard can send in the direction of Bermuda.

Zahard also when it is needed, uses his AoE in favor, which will be very useful against Bermuda with big explosions coming without any warning.

I vote on Zahard with High-Diff

    • Vote counted, thank you. Though some small misconceptions.

Zahard is not superior in CQC to Bermuda. Bermuda was embarrassing Reborn, who taught someone who defeated the best swordsman in the world with only about ten days of training. And Reborn is skillfully superior to him throughout the entire series, despite the swordsman's growth. Not to mention that Bermuda is around 400 years old. So he certainly should have an experience advantage, and likely would embarrass Zahard in CQC honestly. In particular since he doesn't rely on energy based attacks. Baam is very solid, but we don't really have much to compare him to. No world renown martial artists or something of the like.

Which brings me to the second point. Bermuda's largest weakness is his lack of ranged attacks. Unlike basically every other flame in the series, the flames of night cannot be used for ranged attacks outside of transporting body parts. And, unlike the rest of the vindice, Bermuda doesn't have chains that he can spam, unfortunately.

AoE vs Infinite Short Warp. Meh, ya gotta really take this into consideration.

Also, Zahard's attack aren't necessarily without warning. And Bermuda is capable of sensing dying will flames similar to everyone else in the series. Though things like Cosmos provide Zahard with insane AoE. No argument there.

      @YungMazi

I hope Enryu's argument helps you a bit. It's pretty well put together.

    • Not to mention that Bermuda is around 400 years old. So he certainly should have an experience advantage, and likely would embarrass Zahard in CQC honestly.

You know that Data Zharad is over 5000 years old, right? He must have gone through many difficult life and death situations before finishing the Hell train, provided that the Tower before being modified to have situations that the regulars can pass, was a place with powerful beings and a place of probable disorder

        Loading editor
    • Where did we get an exact age on Data Zahard? Keep in mind that Urek cleared the tower in but 50 years, and Zahard is ranked higher than him. He might have lived in the tower for an exceedingly long time as a ranker, but this is Zahard when he was still a regular.

Also, comparing someone who CAN use their hands with someone who can ONLY use their hands is a difference that needs to be noted. And it should also be noted that half of the reason Zahard was 'superior' to Baam in CQC, was simply because he was stronger. And once Baam was in his horned form, CQC was almost abandoned altogether. As it's not as essential to their style as opposed to how it is for Bermuda.

And placing an age, admittedly, even though I did do this, doesn't help as much. Kaiser had been living for over 100 years and Baam was more skilled in CQC, mostly because her abilities allowed her to not rely on CQC as much. And also Baam is very skilled in it.

Still, there haven't been any prime examples in ToG that are comparable to those in KHR. Beating the best swordsman in the world with only ten days of training? And being vastly superior to this person's teacher? There are no feats in ToG that compare to this level of CQC. It's less technique based at this point and more power based.

We also don't exactly know much about Zahard's trials. And it's a well know fact that not all trials mean fighting. It's also well know that many people opt to use shinsoo as opposed to pure, or nigh pure CQC, so that's really a non factor in the argument.

    • What does each character regularly start their fights with in-character?

        Loading editor
    • Zahard could start with either CQC or some kind of shinsoo attack. Either an energy blast or energy palm/punch. Bermuda just kinda short warps around his enemy and beats them down with superior CQC, and, somehow, knowledge/prediction prowess that seems to surpass Tsuna's Hyper Intuition and Reborn's Experience.

        Loading editor
    • If Bermuda starts with warps, wouldn't he be able to outrun Zahard, especially since warping increased Bermuda's speed?

        Loading editor
    • Potentially.

Bermuda's advantages are essentially his warping and CQC, combined with his slightly better speed, along with the AP advantage.

Zahard's advantages are practically everything else. Massive AoE, fantastic ranged game, can absorb energy based attacks (though this seems OOC for him). A decent versatility advantage, in particular with his vibration manipulation.

They both have great extrasensory perception.

    • Hmm... I don't know well about Zahard and only justify from his info in here.

Bermuda advantage with AP , CQC and unlimited short warp. While Zahard should be able to predict some of Bermuda movement with his great extrasensory perception. But I believe that Bermuda should adapt his fighting tactic and make Zahard fail to predict. Like when Bermuda fought Reborn, Reborn can predict and dodge Bermuda's attacks. But Bemuda adapt his attacks mid-fight to make Reborn can't predict and got hit.

While Zahard seem to have AoE and versically advantage. Bermuda still live more than 400 years old. Which I believe that he should have a lot experience about witness several versatility attacks (at least from Vongola, Simon and other Arcobaleno include several man before turn to Vindice) and learned about how to deal with them. So I believe that Bermuda should be able to quickly withstand any techniques from Zahard by his own techniques and find the way to get the advantage mid-fight.

So, I leaning toward Bermuda, High-Diff.

And I agree. Makes me happy that a match can be so close.

    • Actually, I forgot Zahard got upgraded to High 6-C, lol. So I guess the match is done. That kinda sucks.
