Please report any rule violations in this thread. Notifying us of such incidents is highly appreciated.
Additionally, kindly report any sockpuppets that you come across.
Only report violations regarding the wiki rules. False reports due to personal vendettas are unacceptable.
Also, this thread should be for reporting actual rule-breaking, not every single little disagreement.
In cases of extreme vandalism or trolling, you can report the accounts at the VSTF wiki.
If blocked members create sockpuppet accounts to circumvent their block repetitively, or several are created at almost the same time, you may contact the Fandom Staff, to politely request permanent range IP blocks.
You can also find specific users with the Search Function by typing with the format: "User:Username"
Remember to inform members via their message walls if that you have reported them here, in case they have performed severe enough rule-violations to risk being blocked. However, this should only be used in uncertain cases, not if they have done something instantly ban worthy, or if their offenses are minor.
It is against the Fandom rules to upload any offensive images to the wiki, so in order to show screencapture evidence of extremely bad behaviour, you must use external sites, such as Gyazo or Imgur, in order to not get globally banned yourself by the higher-ups:
Do not derail the Rule Violation Threads with irrelevant nonsense or internal disputes. It is solely for making serious, warranted reports of violations of the Site, Discussion, and Editing Rules, and not for discussion or side comments. Such posts should preferably be removed by the staff, and if a member continues to derail after being repeatedly told to stop, this will result in a temporary ban.
It is also best to report extreme serial-sockpuppet accounts directly to the Fandom Staff.
He is a fucking thirteen year old who still has the voice of a squeaky nine year old brat to boot. Do you really think he can even do or understand 1% that? No, he can't. Just forget the kid and let his pathetic ramblings go on. Don't give him attention.
We already have a rule that hardly anybody follows.
"Do not derail the Rule Violation Threads with irrelevant nonsense or internal disputes. Making a discussion rule centered around him specifically would only serve to boost his desire for attention. It would be better to make a generalized rule to not engage in discussion about sockpuppets on Rule Violation reports. Especially not the more notorious sockpuppets.
As far as I have been informed, he and his group of trolls intend to replace this wiki with one of their own, but unless they together spend around 50000 hours working on making it as good as possible over a period of several years, and are very perfectionistic while doing so, it is very unlikely that it is going to work, because that is what our community has had to do in order to succeed.
It is better that they go on with their lives and focus on something else.
So anyone got any advise on how I can handle this situation? Young decided to make me an admin-bureaucrat on vs.bex2.0 after reporting a "you know who" sock to him. Now I don't know much about either wiki, and I don't really care for the position since I'm never there, but I've seen some really sexually graphic content on the new one, and I'd reeally rather not be in such a high position on a wikia with that stuff.
I don't know if this would count as derailing, and deepest apologies if I did, but I wasn't sure who to take this to.
That's not an antisemitic joke. That's literally you being way over dramatic, I'd suggest if you didn't suggest otherwise. The only thing that's report worthy here is the foreskin joke and even then you kinda kicked me from the Chat. Don't you think that's enough, you know instead of wasting everyone's time here?
But ProfessorLord is spouting completely irrational wank, ignoring points that debunk his arguments. And was beginning to speak a bit condescendingly. He accuses me of being biased for agreeing with someone else's points, and challenging his own arguments. Despite me being one of the biggest supporters of MHA on this site.
I may not have been on my best behavior in that thread myself, but I feel this needs to be addressed.
I'm sorry, Mand seriously needs to calm himself when it comes to fictional characters, any repeated disagreement leads to him insulting whoever disagrees and he takes zero form of criticism without backlashing
Please stop derailing the thread; move to message walls or something, or even better is PMs if you want to ask such off topic things. With that said, I too am concerned about the situation, but it's best not to talk about him, or even preferable not to mention his name publicly until resolved.
Ant, you should perhaps make a highlighted post about the issue given how many people are asking about it still, some Admins and Moderators are still in the dark and have the wrong impression. It's a pretty serious thing given what Ever did and Fandom needing to step in. It'll stop anymore derailing and questions as well.
I am extremely uncertain. It would likely turn into a huge mess. It is probably best if I first inform all of the staff members who ask for information in private, and then ask the higher-ranked members if they would be fine with if I post an improved version of the PM in public.
That could take quite a while though. Things tend to move very slowly with over 50 staff members, and myself having around 10 hours of regular wiki work to deal with every day to start with.
My sense of judgement regarding complicated social situations also isn't the best in the first place. I am much better suited to just constantly monitor edits and improve on their structures and grammar, along with keeping the wiki reasonably organised.
'Kindly do not create spite or stomp threads, whether by tier, speed or an absurd difference in hax proficiency (that is, a very hax character vs one with little to no hax) unless the other character possesses abilities that compensate for this advantage.'
Just to clarify, the rule is against spite threads, not stomp threads as, like Kaltias said, it happens more often than not. Such threads should preferably just be closed. So a message on a Discussion Mod or Admin's wall will suffice.
First time offense a d we block? Really? And do you have ANY reason to believe he’s a sock? Mckmal doesn’t even have anything to do with Bendy iirc. You are being way too trigger happy to someone who could just be new.
Is there still a way though that he could be blocked here? If he has access to that stuff, there's a chance he might pop up around here to post it. We shouldnt have a guy like that here. Just noting this out.
Regarding Mckmal, he is just upset over his original ban. He is no threat, so we should preferably stop bringing him up here altogether. He is no different than Jonathan or Mikasa, and we've learned to stop always reporting them as well.
Informant? What is this, an espionage Mission Impossible style?
Shouldn't at least there's a discussion about it first? Check the evidence then find who's REALLY guilty? I found it very surprising to immmediatly ban at least 5 users including staff without warning or anything.
It is probably best if I let the person who helped to inform us of what they did to handle this, as I am very bad at handling complicated social situations, but you have to wait for at least a few hours until then.
We can't get the evidences until the person who has it wakes up.
I can see why the admins decided to block quickly (to try to stop any sudden harassment/trolling), but I'm sure we'll get voice of dissent either way (whether they post messages off platform, or people here defend them).
Even when police don't have enough evidence they still detain before the court date. Not enough time has passed yet to say that the vsbw admins are slacking or that this needs to be rushed any more than it is.
I agree that this was likely too rushed, and I greatly needed more help than I received in handling the situation, but again, let's please immediately drop this discussion until the person who informed us about this has the time to assemble and present all of his evidence. This is also not the right place to discuss this.
As for The Everlasting situation, I did my best to convince the higher staff, but this was progressing slowly.
I feel sorry for Young-Jah. He is harmless, but does not understand what is going on at all, and Mckmal keeps harrassing him a lot for meanspirited "fun". I previously mentioned the situation to the Fandom staff, but it might be best if you ask him to contact them himself, so they can explain things to him.

Now TheDarkSide857 is accusing me for harming Young-Jah
I'm reporting myself. With all of this hooplah of "having dirt" on peoole going around, I should spill the beans on myself, but before I do, let me just say a few things.
I have been on VsBW for awhile now. As of August 26th, 2018, it would be a year. I've been on my best behavior for Majority of that time, but as with some people, they have their faults. For me, as some of you know, i have a bit of an issue with becoming a little hostile and aggressive when annoyed in debates. I have tried to manage my faults, and within this year, I've not had many instances of admin or mods having to warn me and I've never been banned.
I'm sure there are some who can attest to both the positives and negatives of my actions and personality tgat has been shown, but whether they do or wven feel they can is up to them. I've also made some important contributions to several verses. Being a known Naruto Supporter, I've mainly made contributions to Naruto's verse, but others as well none the less.
I know you all will do what you have to do given the rules that i have clearly and fullknowingly broken these "years"...that's fine. I just ask that if possible, any decision to ban me after I finish this, consider the fact that I have changed for the most part and that my actions have proved i am not a toxic user.
That said, the rule that I have broken, twice, is Sockpuppeting to circumvent bans. Some of you may know and haven't said anything or may have had suspicions, but I am a Sockpuppet of the BarryAllen2.0 account, which is itself a sockpuppet of my original account, Akiretsu.
All I can say otherwise now is that I know my action of posting a blog on Narutoforums about my BarryAllen2.0 acciunt being banned was distasteful, and for that I truly apologize. Though I believe the statements that got me banned in that regard, for which I don't remember fully, were taken the wrong way (I didn't intend them to sound malign), i ubderstand none the less why the action was taken.
I've Changed and Matured, though i still have some issues here and there to work on, I understand if a ban, be it a couple days, months or permanant is necessary here.
EDIT: Note that The current situation hasn't been the only factor of why i am coming out now, despite telling UMR at the time before knowing any of his actions on discord that I was Aki/Barry. It's been weighing on my mind since creating my TFO account. I just believe being truthful is best, but it might be too late...
I should note that certain users have been claiming to be Mckmal while doing some offesnive things. They are not Mckmal. They are using "I'm Mckmal" as an excuse to have all the blame put on the banned user.
This is important because while Mckmal has done his atrocities and got banned for it (including all the stuff we know about additionally), he should not be blamed for everything. This is a method used by others creating socks to deviate the attention away from them so they aren't banned elsewhere like they normally would be. So judge certain user's behavior with caution, not all of them are Mckmal socks.
Calm down. Someone is editing topics. This isn't the end of the world and is an easy fix that you can take care of; if you see a topic that is incorrect just click "edit topics" and change it back to the correct ones.
Antvasima wrote: Fandom has told me that the bug has been fixed, but they don't know if they will be able to undo the damage that has already been done. We may have to perform the corrections manually ourselves.
That should be fine. The damage isn't a big deal. I mean it's just topics.
Thank you very much for the help. I would also greatly appreciate if others start to go through those discussion topics, and correct any of the threads that have inaccurately been associated with the pages in question.
