Summary

The Presence is the representation of the Judeo-Christian God in the DC Multiverse and the father of both Lucifer Morningstar and Michael Demiurgos. Although his power is virtually unparalleled, he rarely interferes in the affairs of mortals directly, instead acting through agents and aspects of himself, such as The Spectre. Is one of the supreme and essential creative forces of the DC Multiverse. While the Source and the Overvoid represent the blank canvas from which creation is modelled, the Presence can be described as the one responsible for fashioning said canvas to its will, and is thus the abstract embodiment of every Creator God dreamed and worshipped by mankind over the ages, that which is known by millions of names but in the end represents the same concept. Together with the two aforementioned entities, The Presence can be said to represent God.

Its property contains infinity in each of its resident's breaths and eternity in each of their steps as they're stuck in the changeless forever of now. Notes:

• Crisis Cosmology's version of The Presence is the "God Beyond Gods" who is the true source of Creation that every belief system refers to through different interpretations. All Existence was brought into being by the act of creation of an aspect of God called The Voice whose words: “Let there be light!” created The Light and forced The Great Darkness to retreat, making The Source and The Overvoid aspects of The Presence as they were used interchangeably with The Light of Creation. Representing God's light, these interchangeable figures have a direct connection to God; when The Spectre entered within The Source, the nature of God was shown to him.
• J.M. DeMatteis's version of the Presence is largely inspired by the spiritual avatar “Meher Baba” taking the conception that God is the sole/true reality. All of existence exists as a mere thought in the mind of the Divine Presence and God's love creates all of the duality floating upon an endless Ocean of Dreams. This version of the Presence scales only to J.M. DeMatteis's portion of the cosmology and is inherently a unique view of the Presence much different from the typical depiction.
• For the Vertigo section Yahweh and the Void are one when the former is in his truest and purest form/shape. God is something that's beyond both notions and is in essence disconnected from it, but, intuitively is connected through the means that the Void is the mind of God, thus, in sort Yahweh is the driving aspect to speak, being utilized by his true form, which is a thought from God. So the Void is an aspect of God, while Yahweh is an aspect of the same God that's one and the same with the Void, so an aspect of an aspect.
