We have anecdotal evidence that a very small minority...
...of people may be immune.
Wherever you are though, please take care.
Take care of your loved ones, find food and hide.
Please don't fight.
We can do this together.

~ Triple-N Reporter

Summary

The Player is a survivor of the initial outbreak of the Knox Infection, a disease of unknown origin that enraptured Knox County (hence its namesake) first, and then the world, eventually swallowing other countries and continents. Thanks to their immunity to the fast-spreading airborne infection, the player character is left in the ruins of the world to fend for themselves against the zombie threat as the outside world slowly succumbs.

Powers and Stats

Tier: At least 9-C, possibly 9-B, higher with firearms and melee weapons, much higher with explosives

Name: Varies

Origin: Project Zomboid

Gender: Varies

Age: Varies

Classification: Human, Survivor

Powers and Abilities:

All previous abilities, plus:

  • Limited Statistics Amplification (With the "Adrenaline Junkie" trait the player can increase their speed up to 1.25 times when experiencing high adrenaline)
  • Stealth Mastery (Can train a Sneaking skill, which in turn can be helped with traits such as Inconspicuous and Graceful)
  • Possibly Martial Arts (With the Police or Veteran occupation they likely would have learned at least some form of self defence techniques)
  • Enhanced Senses (With the "Cat's Eyes" trait can see 20% better at night, in search mode they can see things that otherwise they wouldn’t have been able to spot. Keen hearing gives the players 200% better hearing, and the eagle eye trait gives better vision to an unspecified degree)
  • Regeneration (Mid-Low; with the "Fast Healer" trait can heal from injuries such as: scratches, lacerations, lodged bullets, and deep wounds faster than normal)
  • Marksmanship (The player is able to have insane accuracy with weapons, if the "Aiming" skill is trained)
  • Limited Supernatural Luck (With the "Lucky" trait has a higher chance of finding loot and a lower chance of failing repairs)
  • Limited Sleep Manipulation (With sleeping pills)

Resistance to

  • Increased Resistance to Disease Manipulation (With the "Resilient" trait the zombification process becomes slower; the "Outdoorsman" trait vastly increases resistance to disease. With Iron Gut food illnesses are less severe)
  • Pain (With pain killers the player can do things like giving themselves stitches and more easily taking usually debilitating damage and continuing on like normal)

Attack Potency: At least Street level (An unarmed survivor can severely damage the skull of a zombie sometimes in one stomp, which takes multiple full powered stomps for normal people sufficient to keep it down; an armed survivor wields weapons such as Sledgehammers, Katanas, and Machetes), possibly Wall level (Comparable to zombies, who can rip through the steel plating of bulletproof vests, and tank a Dodge Spirit crashing into them while going 30 miles per hour), higher with firearms and melee weapons, much higher with explosives

Speed: At least Average Human, at most Athletic Human, even higher with adrenaline, At least Superhuman travel speed in vehicles, Subsonic+ to Supersonic+ attack speed with firearms

Lifting Strength: At least Athletic Human (Can lift fridges, which can weigh up to 136 kg on average. Able to easily knock down multiple zombies at once by shoving them; higher strength does not grant greater lifting capacity, but rather makes what loads can be lifted easier to lift)

Striking Strength: At least Street level, possibly Wall level (Comparable to zombies, who can destroy light structures and tear through armor with minor difficulty. The player can easily crush a zombie's skull by stomping it. The player can destroy metal walls and other things with a sledgehammer in multiple strikes)

Durability: At least Street level (Although debilitating, players can survive attacks from weapons such as sledgehammers, axes, knives, pistols, shotguns and many other firearms. Could survive falls from the second floor nearly completely unharmed depending on weight carried/worn, which would yield this much energy), possibly Wall level (They can endure car crashes with variable degrees of success, they can endure attacks from zombies, who can rip apart metallic bullet proof vests), higher with their bullet proof vest and/or the thick skinned trait

Stamina: Athletic (With decent fitness, the player can fight off moderately sized hordes of zombies without exhausting, depending on the weapon used, and can engage in extended periods of woodcutting with only minimal fatigue; Can give themselves stitches without the use of pain killers, although the pain felt is extremely debilitating; with the night owl trait the player recovers from exhaustion slightly faster and requires marginally less sleep)

Range: Standard Melee Range; Extended Melee Range with melee weapons, Hundreds of Meters with firearms

Standard Equipment: A wide selection of blades, blunt instruments, axes, spears, and bombs

Intelligence: Average, Varies from Below Average to Gifted depending on traits

The player is fairly adaptive and can learn baseline professional skills and talents at a high rate, provided with adequate learning material or a more refined knowledge of the given profession from the pre-apocalypse; this ranges from adequate electrical knowledge to reinstall devices like industrial ovens to carpentry knowledge suitable to build basic houses; there are traits that hasten the general learning speed of skills, most notably Fast Learner, significantly quickening the learning process in any given profession or hobby; conversely, the Slow Learner trait will substantially undermine this

Players can learn combat related skills with some amount of rapidity, and starting with tangentially related knowledge allows them to learn this faster; this will never allow them to perform highly complex actions with their weapon of choice, but will give them better applicable use of them against the zombie threat- this varies from having dated military knowledge and police training, to being more adroit with a short bladed weapon due to one's backstory as a doctor

Weaknesses: While they can technically exist with none of these, any or all of these weaknesses may also be had at once, severely limiting the player's capabilities depending on the weaknesses used

Notable Matchups

Victories:

The Player (Death Road To Canada) The Player's Profile (The battle took place in Riverside and speed was equal. Death Road to Canada had their basic abilities, a baseball bat, a pistol and a car. While Project Zomboid had 5 hours of preparation time and they started with the engineer occupation)
