Unpredictable, violent and incredibly dangerous, The Joker is chaos personified. He’s killed a Robin, crippled Batgirl and tortured and murdered countless people throughout the DC universe. And now, he’s the latest Kombatant to join in Mortal Kombat.

  • Kard Trick: The Joker pulls out a wad of burning cash that explodes at the opponent's face.
    • Have A Laugh: After the first hit, Joker hops forward with a front kick and swings his cane at the opponent's feet.
  • Rise Up: The Joker crouches down and swings his cane upwards.
  • Fritz Trip: The Joker swings his cane across the opponent's feet, tripping them down.
  • Big Finish: The Joker crouches down and turns around, swinging his cane in a circle and finishing with a showman's flourish.
  • Fritz Slam: After hopping up, The Joker swings his cane down on the opponent's head.
  • Ta-Da: After hopping up, The Joker stomps downwards and lands down doing a showman's flourish.
  • FOOOOOORE: While recovering from a knockdown/successfully blocking an attack, The Joker swings his cane close to the floor in a rising arc.
  • Astaire Step: While recovering from a knockdown/successfully blocking an attack, The Joker performs a high side kick while balancing himself on his cane.
  • Jester Of Genocide: A short combo where Joker throws a jab and turns to his back to swing his cane down. This leads to three different combos.
    • One Bad Day: Adds a third hit where Joker swings Batsy-Poo at the opponent.
    • Super Sanity: The combo ends with Joker slamming his cane down on the opponent.
    • The Man Who Laughs: Joker ends the combo by hopping forward with a front kick.
  • Anarchy In The Air: A simple combo where Joker swings his cane and grabs a masked hostage on a wheelchair to swing them around before throwing them away. It can lead to two different enders.
    • Pale Moonlight: After the first swing, Joker adds a second hostage swing before throwing them away.
    • Harlequin Of Hate: When Joker swings the hostage a second time, he throws them to the opponent, leaving the corpse to explode in fire.
  • Show's Over: The Joker pokes forward and swings down his cane, before performing a golf swing that launches the opponent.
  • Joke's On You: The Joker stomps forward and pokes his cane forward. He then turns around and delivers a kick with his arms stretched out like a showman.
  • Grand Entrance: The Joker runs forward and delivers a jump kick then swings his cane down on the opponent.

  • Batsy-Poo: The Joker fires a shot from Batsy-Poo.
    • The attack can be delayed, doing so will prompt Joker to talk with Batsy-Poo.
    • He may cancel it too by throwing away Batsy-Poo.
    • He can also enhance the attack by fitting a rocket into Batsy-Poo's barrel, replacing the bullet with a flying rocket.
  • Birdboy Beatdown: The Joker charges forward and smashes the opponent with his cane, forcing them to kneel. He then winds up a second attack that knocks them away.
    • Alternatively, the second attack can involver Joker beating them down thrice with his cane.
  • C C D D E G E C: The Joker playfully struts towards the opponent, winding up a jack in the box that releases a toy.
    • The toy can also be rigged to explode as soon as it pops out.
  • KAPOW: The Joker whips out his extendable boxing gloves at the opponent and throws a cross, an uppercut & another cross.
    • The last hit can be changed into a double axe handle punch with the gloves.
    • He whips out both gloves which hits the opponent before delivering three jabs that knock them down.
  • Batsy Pew Pew: The Joker places Batsy-Poo on the floor and fires up to four shots at the opponent's legs.
  • Puppet Parry: The Joker enters a parry stance where he holds out Batsy-Poo in front of him. If he's struck while it's active, he will counter the attack by slapping the opponent with the doll before shooting them in the face.
    • The Joker parries an attack and slaps the opponent twice with his toy before shooting them in the face.
  • Getting Lit: The Joker pulls out a jerrycan and pours a trail of gasoline while retreating, then ignites it with a match to create a trail of fire.
    • It can be extended to increase the distance he walks back, directly increasing the length of the gas trail.
    • He may throw the entire can into the gas, causing it to explode. The explosion's size is also affected by the trail's length.
  • Corpse Trot: The Joker grabs a hostage (rigged with explosives) from a wheelchair and swings it twice at the opponent before throwing it at them.
  • Jack In The Box: The Joker kicks a lethal jack in the box towards the opponent's feet which releases a rising toy.
    • The toy can explode after it rises up, making it a deadly trap.
  • Hostage Hop: The Joker pulls out and fumbles with a detonator whiles releasing a hostage rigged with explosives that hops towards the opponent. He may choose when to detonate the explosives, killing the hostage.
  • Jumping Jester: The Joker places lethal jack in the box on the floor, releasing a rising toy that can hit opponents on the way down.
  • BOING: The Joker pulls out his extendable boxing gloves and propels himself to the air, performing a short leap.

  • The Joker grabs the opponent and brandishes his extendable boxing gloves to the opponent. He fires one glove at their face, knocking them to the floor, and fires the other one twice to their groin. He finishes them off by firing both gloves at their groin.
  • The Joker grabs the opponent and hooks the sharp end of his cane into their head with a swing and pulls them to the other side. He whips out his Batsy-Poo and performs a brief ventriloquist's performance before firing four shots.

  • The Klassic: Joker performs an uppercut, decapitating the opponent with a rising uppercut with their spine still attached. This Brutality is shared will every character.
    • Must not block an attack for the entirety of the final round.
    • A button must be held.
    • Will not trigger on Krushing Blow, if it has not been activated during the match.
  • Playful Puppet: Joker uses his Puppet Parry and starts to continuously beat the opponent's head with a puppet until their head explodes.
    • A button must be held.
  • Batter Up: Joker performs an amplified Birdboy Beatdown, knocking the opponent’s head towards the screen with a homerun swing.
    • A button must be pressed repeatedly.
    • Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, The Terminator are the only three characters doesn't has any words during this brutality.
  • Together Forever: Joker performs his Getting Lit, leaving the opponent on fire while he "pours" confetti on himself from the same canister. When only a charred body remains of the opponent, Joker runs up and hugs the opponent.
    • A button must be held.
  • Magic Bullet: Joker performs his Batsy-Poo, shooting a hole in the opponent's head.
    • Must not be close to the opponent.
    • A button must be held.
  • Send in The Clowns: Joker uses Hostage Hop, as he triggers a button, the opponent is blown to bits along with the hostage.
    • A button must be held.
  • Blam Blam Blam Blam: Joker performs his Backward Throw, continuously shooting at the opponent's face with his Batman Plushie until their face is completely destroyed.
    • A buttons must be pressed repeatedly.
  • Rocket Power: Joker performs an amplified Batsy-Poo and fires a bottle rocket at the opponent's mouth, causing their head to explode.

  • Fatal Blow (SMILE): The Joker will begin winding up a jack-in-the-box that releases its toy jester. If the opponent is hit, he will approach them and pull out a knife to stab their back four times. He pulls out the knife and releases a second hidden knife which forces them to spin around and falls to their knees. The opponent is menacingly approached by Joker from behind as he plunges the knives into their mouth as he inflicts a Glasgow smile with a streak of blood resembling a smile. Lastly, Joker brutally pummels the opponent with his cane, referencing the death of Jason Todd.
