The Stalker, as the name suggests, represents the uncomfortable feeling that there’s another presence nearby without being aware where it is, such as feeling like you’re being followed, or being unable to sleep because you saw a spider in your room earlier and now you don’t know where it is. The aim of the Stalker is to elicit feelings of paranoia and that creepy-crawly sensation.
~ The fear the Hunter (once known as the Stalker) represents.

Summary

The Hunter is one of the main antagonists of the horror game Monstrum, alongside the Brute and the Fiend.

Her origin is a mystery, though through notes it can be determined that she was a failed experiment, a human genetically manipulated, which was kept aboard a shipping container in the freight vessel Hisa Maru and sent somewhere before breaking free and killing most of the crew.

Powers and Stats

Tier: 9-C to 9-B

Name: Unknown, The Hunter, The Stalker (Original concept name), Sea Monster/Sea Spirit (by the sailors)

Origin: Monstrum

Gender: Female

Age: Unknown

Classification: Monster, possibly a mutated human

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Natural Weaponry (Sharp teeth and claws), Enhanced Senses (Can track down the protagonist by scent [which is a kind of trail that the protagonist leaves which disappears over time, and builds up the longer he stays in one location]), Body Control/Stealth Mastery (Can hide in the darkness [especially thanks to her translucent body], vents or in egg sacs she creates, waiting for someone to pass by), Surface Scaling (Can easily walk or climb up walls and ceilings), possibly limited Immortality (Type 1: May have been one of the specimens for an immortality experiment with Turritopsis Dohrnii DNA, which would fit her translucent appearance and the humanlike skeleton structure inside her)

Attack Potency: Street level to Wall level (Weaker then the Brute, but can still kill the protagonist in two or three hits, destroy a wooden door [frame included] in just as many hits, tear a door off a locker, smash a vent open, crush a human head with her jaws and seemingly capable of breaking a metal door off its hinges.)

Speed: Normal Human to Athletic Human (Comparable in speed to the protagonist, a sailor)

Lifting Strength: At least Class 5 (Can destabilize a helicopter shortly after taking off by clinging to it)

Striking Strength: Street Class to Wall Class

Durability: Unknown, likely Street Class to Wall Class (Shrugged off falling off a helicopter a few meters off the ground and steam capable of leaving humans with serious 2nd degree scalding)

Stamina: High

Range: Standard to extended melee range due to claws

Intelligence: Animalistic to Below Average (Slightly smarter than the Brute but still described as being animalistic [specifically in a predatory manner], and can also be tricked with simple distractions such as radio or TV noises. Capable of laying traps in an attempt to catch the protagonist or try and box him in.)

Weaknesses: The Hunter's location can be given away by her footsteps, which sound like a wet slapping sound, or a screeching sound she makes. She's vulnerable to flare guns, fire extinguishers, steam, pit traps, and is notably the most vulnerable monster to the effects of fire.
