Summary
Tena Vita, also known as Cutlass, is an ally of the Mage of the Beginning and one of the many clones of Negi Springfield, being the 17th clone created from his DNA. She first appeared in an attempt to ambush Touta, almost succeeding in severely disabling him before Touta's allies stopped her. Afterward, she challenged Touta to meet him at the top of the space elevator in New Tokyo, at the end of the Mahora Martial Arts Tournament.

- Explosion Spell: She can instantly cast a spell that explodes upon activation without any verbal incantation. She can also emit an explosion from her black longsword, allowing her to greatly increase the cutting power of her attacks.
- Curtain of Night-Harpoons to Pierce the Leviathan (魔鯨穿つ夜銛の帳, Makujira Ugatsu Yomori no Tobari): The spell creates dozens of spears of darkness that launches towards a target to impale and immobilize them.
- Lightning Spell: She can create a continuous and incredibly destructive onslaught of lightning from above her target.
- Teleportation: Cutlass can teleport using teleportation charms.
Black of Venus
Cutlass' Unique Skill. The power of destruction based on the Forces of Darkness, which is the base of Magia Erebea. A power that activates when Cutlass is severely injured. It regenerates her life and greatly increases her stats. However, as she was a failed clone of Negi Springfield, she didn't receive the immortality of the dark magic.
- First Form: With her first transformation, her power level increases exponentially, and she grows four dark, demon-like arms and a tail from her back.
- Second Form: She can morph into a second, much more powerful form than her first. She develops demonic spider-leg arms and a hybrid of dragonic and demonic designs with huge horns.
