Yeah, I'm a pretty big Castlevania fan for years and I was shocked at their power levels too. As it turns out, universe busting is actually pretty common in Castlevania, with Dracula being superior to the Time Reaper, who was destroying space-time in two timelines and Menace destroying the Abyss, which contained multiple universes. --Darkanine.
