That is not how I remember the interview that I read, and regardless, this portrayal of The Source strongly contradicts all other versions, and has been ignored afterwards, but you can link to the information if you wish. Antvasima (talk) 18:31, July 8, 2016 (UTC)
Well, it's still the only time The Source has physically appeared on screen. And here's Grant's quote:

Well, all that was said is that Grant tried, and failed, to fix the various continuity contradictions with other comicbooks (blame Dan Didio for Countdown and Death of the New Gods, along with pretty much everything that has gone wrong with the company over the years).
In addition, Jim Starlin's portrayal of The Source went extremely against Jack Kirby's original vision, and it has consistently been treated in the original manner after Starlin's miniseries.
I find it misleading and respectless to base our profile here on a portrayal that was a major aberration in the history of the concept. Antvasima (talk) 04:01, July 9, 2016 (UTC)
All things considered... You're probably right. Outside of DotNG, The Source has never been portrayed as a sentient being with intentions and a physical form. I just wish there were more images for the concept-like, non-corporeal Source. Matthew Schroeder (talk) 13:47, July 9, 2016 (UTC)
