Summary
Clark Kent (birth name Kal-El) is a superhero known as Superman. He is an extraterrestrial hailing from the doomed planet Krypton, sent to Earth as an infant to escape his home planet's destruction. His ship was discovered by the kindly Jonathan and Martha Kent, who took him in and raised him as if he were their own son. In his civilian identity, he is a mild-mannered intern working for the Daily Planet in Metropolis.
He later meets The Flash, a Metahuman speedster, and becomes a founding member of the Justice League.
