- Insert a picture of the Verse at the very top, just above the Summary section.
- For pictures that are wider horizontally, the alignment is to the center, and the maximum size is 590px, in order to fit in tablet screens.
- For pictures that are longer vertically, or are of similar size in both directions, the alignment is to the right, and the maximum size is usually around 400px to 445px, but it tends to depend from case to case what image size that is possible to fit to the right of the text, so you should test what works in that regard. Also, make sure that the image does not turn too large in relation to the rest of the page contents. It seldom needs to exceed 400px.
- A link to the Fandom wiki for the verse in question can also be placed here. Click here for information on how to properly format such a link.
The sentences should be written based on the following pattern:
For detailed information about this series from the Marvel Comics Wiki you can click here.
Summary
- Write a short description about the franchise, preferably with an overview of the plot.
Power of the Verse
- This section should explain how strong the characters/items in the series are in general, and what sort of abilities that they hold.
Explanations (Optional)
- This section should explain how the power structure, and cosmology, of the verse fundamentally works, especially for its high-end beings.
- It can also link to even more extensive in-depth explanation pages and blog posts within this wiki.
Calculations
- It is very helpful if you place links to any currently used calculation blogs for the verse within this section, preferably with notes about which characters that they scale to, so visitors can more easily overview the basis for our statistics.
- Take note that you are only allowed to add blogs that have been evaluated and accepted by our calc group to these lists. Adding unaccepted calculations is against our regulations.
- Please remember to update this list if new calculations are added, or old ones are discredited. Accepted calculated supplementary feats are fine to include.
- Here is an example of what such a list may look like.
Knowledgeable Members
- A list of members who consider themselves as "experts" should have a significant amount of knowledge regarding a franchise, and are required do their best to remain as unbiased as they possibly can.
- It is against the rules of this wiki to add yourself to this page without significant knowledge of a franchise, and the ability to evaluate it in a mostly unbiased manner. You also need to have an active account in our forum.
- To link a specific user page or message wall into this section, use this format, except for the "" part surrounding the username: "Username" or "Username"
Supporters/Opponents/Neutral
- A section where members who are familiar with a series, or franchise, can add their names under different sections, depending on their opinions about it. Only the members who help out with content revision threads in our external forum should write themselves down under these sections.
Supporters
- A list of members who like a certain verse.
- To link a specific user page into the supporters/opponents sections, use the format written below, except for the "" part surrounding the username.
- "Username"
Opponents
- A list of members who dislike a certain verse.
Neutral
- A list of members who feel neutral about a certain verse.
Characters
- A list of the character profiles belonging to a certain series or franchise. Add links to all of the associated pages available in the wiki.
- Organise them into factions or tiers, so they are listed together with similar characters.
- Using galleries for character profiles is preferable if they have images. Do not insert pictures and/or links for not yet created profiles.
Faction 1
- Character 1
- Character 2
Faction 2
- Character 3
- Character 4
Image Galleries
When characters are to be listed with images and links, certain formatting has been provided to make this easier. Here is an example of coding for the images:
<gallery captionalign="center" widths="146" orientation="portrait" captionposition="within" captionsize="large" bordercolor="#000000" bordersize="large" spacing="small" captiontextcolor="#ffffff" navigation="true" columns="dynamic"> File:(Name of specific png or jpg image)|(Specific name of the first character goes here)|link=(Name of wiki page for said character goes here) File:(Name of specific png or jpg image)|(Specific name of the second character goes here)|link=(Name of wiki page for said character goes here) Etc. </gallery>
More information and modifiers for galleries can be found on the Community Wiki page; Help:Galleries.
Hex codes for the border color and caption text color can be altered, and finding specific hex codes can be done on this website.
Here is an example of the code in practice:
<gallery captionalign="center" widths="146" orientation="portrait" captionposition="within" captionsize="large" bordercolor="#000000" bordersize="large" spacing="small" captiontextcolor="#ffffff" navigation="true" columns="dynamic"> File:FELIX.jpg|Felix|link=Felix (Golden Sun) File:Jenna.jpg|Jenna|link=Jenna (Golden Sun) File:SHEBA.jpg|Sheba|link=Sheba </gallery>
And the gallery in action can be seen here.

Discussions Template
This is the section that leads the users to the list of threads that are related to the page in question. For verses without any special characters, you can use the template as it is. All you need to do is add discussions
above the categories.
Placement: There should be no empty lines above the discussions template so that there are no empty spaces above it. Also, this section should always be below the References section if it is present, and this section should always be above the Categories, for example:
==References== reflist discussions
discussions
Tag Conversion: For characters pages with special characters and symbols, the application of the discussions
template is a bit more complicated. The conversion process differs depending on when the tag was made, so for tags that already exist, you should most likely test which of the tag naming conversion process works properly before deciding on using one of them as a wiki link, or just check the forums for a matching tag and see how the tag is converted. The tag/link has to be identical to the page name.
How the discussion template is written: The Page's Forum Tag
Converting tags made before the forum migration: The tags made before the forum migration were based on the URL of the page, which removed some symbols, and encoded some symbols into UTF-8.
- Sign: Common Apostrophe ('): 27
- Sign: Special Apostrophe Character (’): E28099
- Sign: Percent (%): 25
- Sign: Ampersand (&): 26
- Sign: Backticks (`): 60
- Sign: Question Mark (?): 3F
- Sign: E-Acute (é): C3A9
- Sign: Hyphen (-): -
- For accented latin characters, check this blog post.
- Remove signs such as Parentheses ("(" or ")"), Commas (","), Dots ("."), Slashes ("/"), Exclamations ("!"), Colons (":"), Tildes (~), Quotation Mark ("), and Semicolons (";").
- Note that the % symbols in URL should be removed in the

Converting tags made after the forum migration: The tags made after the forum migration removes special characters instead of converting them, with some exceptions. If the page in question does not have any currently existing tag in the forums, then this conversion method should be followed. When applying tags on threads in the forums, simply copy and paste the page title.

General Discussions Template: We also provide a new template that allows you to incorporate a bottom section similar to hashtag/discussion functionality on the verse pages. This facilitates linking to their corresponding general discussions for more convenient navigation.
The template is structured as follows: <General Discussion Link>
To include the general discussion link, insert "|" after "GeneralDiscussion" and then add the link to the general discussion.
Custom Coding (Optional)
You have the flexibility to design the verse page with optional customization using css/js, as long as it adheres to our standard format.
For example, you may customize the header or border design. However, should you find it necessary to define a custom class when no other alternatives are available, you must create a content revision for review by staff members. This allows them to assess the code before implementing it into MediaWiki.common.css, considering both its necessity and quality.
Additionally, you are expected to include the code in your personal.common.css, enabling staff members to thoroughly evaluate it.
- The content revision should be presented professionally and, whenever possible, provide a preview of the code.
- It's crucial to consider that the design modifications should also be compatible with our mobile interface.
Categories
Each verse page should contain the following categories at the bottom of the page:
- "Verses"
- The name. For example: "Naruto"
- The type of media that best describes the fictional work or franchise in question. The available options are: "Anime", "Book Verses", "Cartoons", "Comic Books", "Games", "Internet", "Light Novels", "Manga", "Manhua", "Manhwa", "Movies", "Music", "TV Series", and "Visual Novel Verses".
- The decade the verse was released in. For example: "1990s"
