Verse-Specific Powers and Abilities pages are intended to ease the readability of character profiles by holding the relevant citations for a group of characters that all share the same abilities and justifications for them. This allows readers to directly source the innate traits all respective characters share, with more character-specific derivations being then listable directly on each character page.

As noted in the Editing Rules, such pages must have at least 5 users with either the verse-specific power/ability itself, or a resistance to it, with the verse-specific power/ability itself inherently granting at least 10 regular Powers and Abilities, or 5 for considerably more detailed cases.

This is done to avoid potential redundancy with regular Powers and Abilities pages, hence the minimum notability criteria, and to avoid overlap with Explanation Pages, especially to circumvent the above standards. Cases that don't qualify should merely be copied and redacted as needed in all respective pages.

Listed descriptions should strive to use common terminology, and avoid overly specific terms and topics that reach beyond the focus of this wiki, unless it pertains to relevant semantics involved for the reasoning, information such as how the ability/abilities are obtained, prerequisites for them, etc.

Regarding the title of a verse-specific power/ability, "Physiology" pages refer to traits shared biologically between characters due to being of the same (group of) species/class of beings. The capability to manipulate or use a supernatural element, technique, martial art, etc. should be titled with their actual names accordingly without the "Physiology" part, as generally such a term is a fan-made one for the sake of clarification.

The following is a basic template to act as a baseline idea of how a page of this sort could be structured, but users are free to go differently as long they respect general wiki-wide grammar and formatting standards.

Additionally, a category should also be made for the respective verse-specific power/ability listing all its users.

Insert either a portrait of the power/ability in utilization here, its logo, or a portrait of average users. The standard size is 400px, if the image is aligned to the right.

Summary

Insert a basic description of the particular verse-specific power/ability in question, including how it works or functions.

Types (Optional)

Variations or levels of usage of the verse-specific power/ability. Only types that cover certain portions of the capabilities of the verse-specific power/ability should be mentioned, as others that are merely divided by political or cosmetic aspects and the like are undesirable for indexing purposes.

Powers and Abilities

List the powers, abilities and resistances a character inherently has by having the verse-specific power/ability.

Tabbers or subheaders may also be used here to list the powers, abilities and resistances only certain characters within each given Type (if any) have by using the verse-specific power/ability. Powers, abilities and resistances exclusive and inherent from the use of the verse-specific power/ability to those within a Type are to also be listed there.

Examples

List some notable users of the verse-specific power/ability here, potentially including parenthesis to clarify whichever subset of it they display.

References

This is a section where the source references can be shown. To use them, switch to the source editor in the "Preferred editor" menu, if you haven't done so, and add some text to the profile between the <ref> and </ref> tags. It will appear in this section if the <references/> tag is inserted here at the beginning. Note that references will automatically show up in a list.

If multiple pieces of text should refer to the same source, then the reference's code should be modified to <ref name="name">Reference text</ref> to allow multiple uses. Then the named reference can be used later as just <ref name="name"/>. Here is an example of how to properly insert references into pages.

If you use many references within a single page, you can use the code {{reflist|2}} for 2 columns of them, so the layout looks better. If even that isn't enough a scrollbox can be employed by using the code {{scroll box|content={{reflist|2}}}}.

Read this guide if you want an extended knowledge on how to use references. You can also visit the References instruction page in this wiki.

Categories

In addition to the respective verse category it belongs to, you should always add the Verse-specific Powers and Abilities category to these pages.
