Summary
Rebellion is Dante's trademark magic sword. It is a magical blade originally created alongside the Sparda and Yamato when the Dark Knight Sparda split his power into three pieces, and was named by him to embody "retaliation". To complement the Yamato, which can separate man from devil, the Rebellion can instead unite the two forces.
Rebellion was eventually given to Dante as a keepsake from his father, and its ability allowed it to serve as a physical manifestation to his Devil Trigger power. The blade originally remained dormant, but after coming into contact with Dante's blood (When Vergil stabbed him with it), it was awakened, and several years later, during the events of Devil May Cry 5, after it was shattered by Urizen, it eventually culminates in Dante stabbing himself with the broken Rebellion and fully utilizing its primary function to unite his human and demon halves, reforging the blade by also fusing it with the Devil Sword Sparda, to form the Devil Sword Dante.

All previous abilities, Weapon Creation and Instinctive Reaction (With Devil Sword Dante, when Dante uses Sword Formation, he can create magical swords to automatically attack, block, evade, and enhances Dante's attacks and movement on his behalf, or if he chooses, he can control them manually. Sword Formation can be used at any time with any weapon, firearms, and Devil Arms in Dante's arsenal or even without any weapon at all and can alter its shape and quantity accordingly. The sword has its own will and will help Dante when he fights against his enemies),[4] has all abilities from the Devil Sword Sparda which are: Self-Sustenance (Type 1, Dante, after awakening the sword's powers, could survive in the vacuum of space),[5] Summoning (Grants the user the ability of summoning a dragon made of Demonic Energy),[5] Resurrection (The sword is capable of resurrecting Trish,[6] having done so when she was killed by Mundus),[7] BFR and Power Nullification via Sealing (Is capable of sealing demons or dimensions,[8][9][10] this ability also sends the target to the Demon World and removes their powers. The seal is capable of prohibiting demons on certain level of power from passing through there using their consciousness, since despite lesser demons being capable of sending their consciousness to the Human World to possess things,[11] this is something that the high-ranking demons can't do, since they have some problems, one of those being[12] because of their powers[13] being unable to pass through the gaps, requiring large portals to successfully pass through),[14] Resistance to Time Stop (Should grant Sparda's powers, which scales to other Mundus Generals), Extrasensory Perception (The Sparda can hide the presence of its wielder even against enemies with enhanced senses),[15] Extreme Cold and Cosmic Radiations (It allowed Dante to endure being in deep space, which has these properties)
