Summary
The power to control plant life.
Users may be able to create, shape and manipulate plants, including woods, vines, moss, and various other plant groups, as well as invidual parts such as leaves, seeds, fruits and flowers. The user may cause plants to grow, move/attack or even rise from the soil and "walk". Their degree of control may be so great as to mutate plants by rearranging DNA, or even revive withered or dead plants.
Offensively, plants might be used to choke, grapple with or trip opponents. Thorny plants or hardy plants moving at sufficient speed might be instruments of cutting and/or impalement. This power might also be used to unnaturally boost certain natural plant toxins to hamper or kill opponents.
Defensively, the user may rely on generating large plant constructs to protect themselves and their allies.
Possible Uses
- Create/generate/increase, shape, move and animate plants:
- Camouflage by covering the user or blending in with leaves or petals.
- Constructs, including but not limited to weapons, walls, armor or allies/servants.
- Faster transportation via quick-moving plant constructs.
- Connecting to plants, displaying empathy to their conditions and/or communicating with them.
- Sap manipulation
- Enhanced Senses via seeing/feeling information through plants.
Limitations
- May be unable to create plants, being limited to manipulating only from already existing sources.
- Most users are powerless in areas without plants or at least potential for plants to grow, such as wastelands.
- High levels of radiation in a concentrated area may inhibit plant growth.
- Users may be only able to control certain types of plants.
- Users may be limited on how many plants or how long they can control them.
- Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user.
- Attacks from Fire Manipulation and/or Ice Manipulation can pose an issue.
