“ | Somebody once told me a story. Long ago, a yellow Pokemon appeared in the PokéPark. Just when it seemed as though the friendship here was lost… That Pokemon mended all the broken hearts, far and wide! | „ |

Summary
Pikachu is one of Mew’s four best friends, and the protagonist of the PokéPark duology. Having lived and played with Mew, one day a hole opened up in the ground, and caused him to accidentally fall into a land called PokéPark. He learned that friendship there was basically dying, and as a result the Sky Prism had partially shattered, which could have eventually led to the Sky Pavilion falling on the PokéPark itself. Mew took this as an opportunity to test his friend and save PokéPark at the same time, manipulating events so that specific people, such as those running Attractions, came to find or were given the shards of the Sky Prism that Pikachu needed. Over the course of the game Pikachu gets stronger, tougher, and grows far beyond he ever thought possible, as he gains each Sky Prism shard and even saves the Park itself.
In PokéPark 2, he travels to see the sights of a second island also with the name of PokéPark, where he discovers a conspiracy led by Darkrai to bring all known beings into Wish Park, an alternate universe. Together with Oshawott, Snivy, and Tepig, they must bring Darkrai to justice before the damage to both worlds becomes irreversible.

Speed: FTL (Outraced Pokémon such as Leafeon and Scyther in Bulbasaur’s Daring Dash, dodged attacks from a Torterra, chased and caught up to a sprinting Leafeon who had a head start, although this was extremely difficult for him to do) | At least FTL (Trained to become much faster alongside Ponyta, chased and caught up to Vaporeon, Glaceon, Flareon, etc, all of whom are fast enough to blitz Meadow Zone Pikachu), higher via Double Dash | At least FTL, possibly Massively FTL+ (Chased and caught up to Mew despite him having a head start, although Mew is still treated as massively faster in Bulbasaur’s Daring Dash; chased and caught up to Celebi), higher via Double Dash | At least FTL, possibly Massively FTL+ | At least FTL (Trained extensively with Blitzle to become significantly faster and learned everything she knew about running; chased and caught up to Thundurus and Landorus), likely at least Massively FTL+ (Kept up with both Zekrom and Reshiram), higher via Double Dash and Shake Sprint

Durability: Large Mountain level+ (Withstood Torterra’s Razor Leaf and multiple attacks from Post-Training Scyther, survived the Tunnel fall offscreen with no injury) | At least Large Mountain level+ (Uninjured by a Machamp hurtling a boulder directly into him, has shrugged off attacks from way too many Final Evolved Pokémon to feasibly list) | Multi-Continent level+ (Can tank rampages from Groudon) | At least Galaxy level, possibly High Universe level (Can tank hits from Zekrom or Reshiram)
Stamina: Very High, can fight even after taking massive amounts of damage in battle, not shown to be tired in the least after performing rigorous events such as Bulbasaur’s Daring Dash, even celebrating if he got a good score | Very High, became a lot more fortuitous than before thanks to his HP training | Extremely High, completed a giant platformer course, defeated 3 incredibly powerful Pokémon in a row, and then caught up to Mew in a chase right after all without tiring | Extremely High, trained his HP even further with Audino.
Range: Below Standard Melee Range, Several Meters via Thunderbolt | Below Standard Melee Range, Several Meters via Thunderbolt (double the range of before)
- PokéPark Pad - Keeps a record of all of Pikachu’s friends
- Wonderful Watering Can - Instantly blooms any flower that is watered by it
- Surfboard - Allows Pikachu to quickly move across water
- Balloons - Allows Pikachu to fly
- Snowboard - Allows Pikachu to quickly move across snow
Intelligence: Gifted, knows just about anything about the Pokémon world to the point where he can pass any given quiz about it. According to Meditite, along with his body he has been training his brain superbly. Has fought and defeated hundreds of different Pokémon. Can play many different Attractions much better than Pokémon well more equipped to do so. Furthermore, Pikachu is an amazingly skilled fighter, catching the attention of and even sometimes defeating Legendary Pokémon themselves. Defeated all 30 Battle Tournament members filled with some of the strongest Pokémon in all of PokéPark, after which it was stated that his moves will be the subject of conversation for years to come
Weaknesses: Pikachu cannot move while actively using Thunderbolt. Iron Tail is a risky move to pull off due to how close he must get to his opponent, though vastly less so in the second game
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Dash: Pikachu gets on all fours and runs extremely fast. The smaller the opponent, the more this move knocks them back, with smaller Pokémon being sent flying and larger ones being knocked only several feet, although the damage stays the same regardless. In battle, this move translates to Tackle, though it keeps all of its previous effects.
- Double Dash: If Pikachu dashes at just the right time during a Dash, he will launch into a sprint much faster than a normal Dash. However, he doesn’t use this in the second game so it is unknown if he still has it.
- Shake Sprint: Replacing Double Dash in PokéPark 2, this allows Pikachu to sprint forwards at breakneck speed upon the player shaking the Wii remote.
- Thunderbolt: Pikachu charges up and hits the opponent with an arc of electricity coming from his body. If the main games are to be believed, this move cannot normally miss when used on an enemy.
- Iron Tail: Taught to him by a Primeape who famously lacks a tail, it is Pikachu’s most risky move; he must get up super close to the opponent to land the attack, but the damage it deals is without equal. Pikachu eventually got so proficient in using this move that he can hit enemies with it multiple times in a single opportunity, and eliminate some of the risk in PokePark 2.
- Friends: By far, a Pokémon’s most powerful ability is the friends they make. This is true in a literal sense for Pikachu, as he seems to possess the ability to bring any Pokémon he’s bonded with directly to his aid, or even all of them. Once they are there, he can draw upon their power.
