Summary
Patricia Birdway is the younger sister of Leivinia Birdway. Patricia has been left in the dark about the Magic Side or her sister's cabal, believing Leivinia to simply belong to some sort of club. Unlike Leivinia, Patricia is very friendly and lacks any haughtiness, despite being as talented as her sister in her own way, being a genius kid with a PhD.
Patricia first appeared in Stiyl Magnus's side story, though she had a major role in New Testament, as she arrived at Academy City seeking a cure for an unknown parasite she and her team had found in the South Pole.

Patricia's design with Shoggoth
- Sample Shoggoth: An artificial parasitic life-form which infested Patricia Birdway after her research team encountered it in Antarctica. The parasite appears as a pitch black amorphous mass resembling an octopus floating in the deep sea, a soft piece of fat cut away with a knife or loose rubber film melted from the inside. Its surface is covered in bubbles with some things, not quite eyeballs or suckers, which blink with a damp yellow or green light that resembles glow-in-the-dark paint. The parasite dissolves the fat inside the host's body and slips into the empty space, maintaining their human silhouette. It also handles the storage and distribution of nutrients that the fat would have done. The parasite can partially leave its host to protect it from danger, taking any form it desires and producing countless fangs and claws. Patricia doesn't have full control over the Sample Shoggoth infesting her, but she's still capable of using it to fight her sister using several fanged tentacles. She was also capable of using it to crawl on walls. The Sample Shoggoth is actually a variety of Academy City’s #2, Dark Matter, but it ignores that esper’s will and can be controlled by a third party.
