Fixie Powers
A fixie is a tiny creature, secretly living among humans and fixing their appliances. Before, fixies were born unnaturally: when human craftsmen invent something very well made, they leave a little piece of their soul into their own inventions. Those little pieces of soul turn into fixies, as a rule, with saving the diligence, appearance, and personality of their «creators». But as more and more appliances were getting made by machines and robots, fixies' hope on humans is almost gone, they have to create their families, raise and teach their children.[1] Throughout the entire lifespan, fixies accumulate enormous knowledge, skills, and attainments, allowing them to fix machines much faster and more effective than humans.
- Screw Transformation: Every fixie can turn into a screw — a special disguise that is used by a fixie when humans appear, in case if there's no way to hide. Fixies become much more durable than in their humanoid shape, becoming as durable as screws of their own size.
- Screwing in a hole: Fixies can screw in a hole, similar to actual screws. Fixies just have to run, jump, and – transforming into a screw in time – spin clockwise.
- Electricity Absorption: Fixies don't need regular food and drinks for life support. Instead, they absorb the electricity of appliances they take care of. If fixies don't absorb electricity, then they unwittingly start to become screws without being able to transform back into their regular shapes. In this case, fixies don't die. To get powerless fixies back to their senses, one needs to screw them into any working appliance, after which they can get back to their regular shapes and become active.
